Cabinet Making
I used Lowe's Cabinet Making. They did the work in 2006. The cabinets are doing fine. I'm very pleased with them. We didn't have any problems with them. He said when they would be there and they were.

I was going to use the gift card online for a freezer but it did not work. It said it had a zero balance. However, Angie's List took care of it and I used it in the store at a later date. This location is convenient and I have never had complaints with the service. They also have what I need.

Shawn in the Garden Department helped me find all the materials I was looking for, advised me of good deals, answered questions about general planting, etc.Several others in that department (I made a lot of trips for stuff) assisted me with finding other bargains, getting me the sale prices on items (that weren't coming up right in the system) and just in general a fantastic bunch.

Purchasing the appliances went smoothly with Keith's help. Very knowledgeable, friendly, not pushy. Great experience.
When the delivery guys came, they were very professional and did everything they could to make sure everything was set up perfectly and I was happy with it all (my doorframe was a hair too narrow for the fridge, so there was some finagling and pieces temporarily removed to make it fit. they did it beautifully, with no damage). I don't remember their names now, but I sent an email to Corporate expressing my gratitude (and for Keith).

We were not pleased with the service in that, when the installers first got here, they said it was a four day job. Then they said it would be a three day job. However, the truck broke down so they didn't start until later in the day. They rushed to get it done in the three days. The work wasn't completely finished when they left. Also the first crew that came was very sloppy. When they would leave at night, they would leave their lunch and soda cans around, and left a board with nails sticking up. They were very unprofessional. I had to call in to get another crew out to fix the problems. They were very professional and cleaned up well, and their work was good. I just had expected Lowe's to look over the project a little more to make sure that job was done correctly.

Greenscapes: Subcontractor for Lowe's Millwork. The initial representative showed up almost 5 hours late, had a female "assistant" with him and did not complete all the measurements required. This subcontractor had to come to the house Three times to get the correct measurements. After making arrangements for the first subcontractor visit, Greenscapes called 3 more times to try and set up an appt. to do the measurements. Windows that are not even present in the house were included in the estimate.

Window Treatment Service
One of the shutters did not close correctly and we are still waiting on Lowe's to replace the defective shutter. We've talked with the store manger and the contractor as well as filling a complaint with Lowe's corporate office. We've been told that the replacement is on order but we have not heard back from Lowe's since our last communication. So far we've been waiting 6 weeks for the replacement shutter.

Everything went very well. The customer service at the time of purchase was wonderful, the staff was very knowledgable and answered all our questions. The installer (Tommy) was the best. He was running late and called not only to let us know, he called again when he was on his way so we would know when to expect him. He was very careful and meticulous during the install and wanted to be sure everything was just right. He was respectful of our home and even swept the floor and the porch after the install was complete.

This was a very, very bad experience that took seven (7) weeks for them to complete. Each time that I contacted the Installation Dept., Jessica, the department lead was very lackadaisical and laid back about the lack of progress on this project. She told me on several occasions that she would call me back with completion dates, but did not call. I am totally disappointed with the way the whole process was handled from start to finish. I expected a company the size of Lowe's to be more professional than this and employ people who care. I am very dissatisfied with the way everything was handled and I would never recommend Lowe's Installation Department to anyone.

I really like the service people Lowe's sends out, recently they put two new doors in our house and they did a great job. The old doorframe was not made for this type of doors, so the men had to do some re-modifications and everything turned out great. The men were conscious of my bum knee and made the door bottom more efficient for me to get over. The men were very professional and took there time to make sure everything was right the first time. When they were done installing the two doors they grabbed a broom and cleaned everything up very nicely

Ceramic Tile Service
The tile that we purchased from Lowes looks beautiful. The installation work is level and fits very nicely together without grout. The tile is an amber colored Spanish tile and looks fabulous in our family room. We noticed a few minor things after it was finished. When we called Lowes they were quick to send the installers back out to correct it. The men did a great clean up of their work area and we were pleased with the finished flooring.
