"This is a false and misleading review which offers no value to the consumer and should be stricken from public view. Lineberger Consulting Engineers takes all customer reviews very seriously. We continually strive to make our customer’s happy by providing them with innovative, practical, and valuable structural engineering services and solutions. Unfortunately, this customer is unhappy because they mistakenly ordered a "Structural Foundation Inspection" instead of a "City Letter Inspection". The customer agreed to our terms and conditions before placing their order which exluded any other service such as a City Letter Inspection. We explained this to the customer when we reviewed the report with them by phone and even offered to help them by refunding a portion of the fee, but they refused. They then turned around and tried to have their bank reverse the creidt card charge. We also explained they could purchase the City Letter Inspection separately as a stand-alone service at any time. Still, this customer gave us a 1-star review knowing: 1) they can purchase the service they desire at any time, 2) they mistakenly ordered the wrong service, 3) they reviewed and agreed to our terms and conditions which fully and clearly disclosed to them they were ordering a "Structural Foundation Inspection" service. Misleading review narratives initiated and produced by the customer such as this review do not benefit the public discourse. Product or service reviews should constructively inform consumers so they can make good buying decisions. This inaccurate and non-factual review offers no value to the consumer and should be stricken from public view."
