"I am not sure the purpose of this review as this matter was corrected the same day of this review. According to Angieslist this review was made Oct.9,2014, the same day I e-mailed you back. I just received this review from Angieslist today, Sunday @ 8:07 AM. I don't believe we showed up to your property after your e-mail of cancelation, as we removed your address for future services. Based on our e-mails it was never mentioned that we showed up to your property after your cancelation. I apologies if we did. You were a long time customer to us, we are sadden to lose you as a customer. If anything changes down the road please give us a call."

We will continue to use this company. The owner and his employees are very professional and clean cut. It is a very difficult task to find a company like this one. They truly are a cut above. The owner is busy, but he stands by his word that he will either call or text as quickly as he can. I have appreciated his calls or texts at 7 pm....knowing that he has taken the time at the end of his long day to get back to us. Customer service and communication make a huge difference. What a great company! Thanks Angie's List!!! We were about to give up when we called his listing.

Left work early to meet them but no one showed up and no one called. Many good reviews on Angie's List so maybe just a miscommunication? Still, too many other companies out there to worry about someone not showing up.

Matt called and was very nice. However, even with a Sr. discount the cost for the job was more than I could afford.

They were a little bit too high. They came in a timely manner. Their price was just a little higher than we wanted to pay. We wanted to pay $40-45 and they wanted somewhere around $60-65. They were very courteous and professional. We were just trying to find someone that was comparable with what we currently had. He gave us some advice on when to do what and he answered our questions. We wanted to compare their prices with some other companies. We had no problem with him.

My backyard was a total mess due to some very large oak tress there was an extreme amount of leafs all over the yard, in some places 6 or 7 inches deep. I also had a large hole dug around my pool to repair a leak that I needed to have covered up. I had been dreading the enormous task of cleaning this mess up, so I decided to join Angie's list and look for a lawn service to do the job for me, best decision I have made in a long time. I decided on Land N Lawns and Matt and his crew did a fantastic job. Matt was very professional, punctual and performed all of the work as we discussed, he even agreed to haul of 10 bags of leaves that I had raked with no extra charge. When I arrived back home from work to inspect the job I was very pleasantly suprised of how well the backyard looked. Not only would I recommend Land N Lawns, I plan of using them again in a few weeks to put some sod down in the backyard. I HIGHLY recommend Land N Lawns for any type of yardwork you may need to have performed.

Matt did not return my call the 1st time, so I called again and set up an appointment for him to come and give an estimate. He came and was clean, neat and professional. He quoted me a price and I made a verbal agreement with him to come back on Saturday. That afternoon, a young man came by and quoted me a price for leaf removal and yard care. His price beat Matt's immensely, so I decided to go with him. When I called Matt, again he was very professional and pleasant. He asked if it didn't work out with this other young man, to consider calling him back. I pay attention to neat and clean, because sloppy people do sloppy work. Matt did not have earrings or tats. These are big things in my book for people that are going to be spending time around my home. I would gladly recommend Matt to anyone looking for responsible man to do yard care.

Called and left a voice mail stating that we needed some yard work done. He did not call back so I called again 24 hours later. It has been 3 days now and he has not returned any calls. I wanted to work with this company, but they never responded.

Matt came over on Saturday, which worked better for us, and walked through the front and back yards. We explained what we were looking for in an ongoing service, as well as the addressing the immediate needs of overgrowth and extensive weeds in the lawn. He also suggested doing a thinning of the trees, which was apparent was needed once he pointed it out. He gave us options on the lawn - quick fix and bring in new sod, or chemicals - and explained why he thought chemicals was our best bet due to time of year. While we elected to go with a service recommended by our new neighbors (we've just moved in) after we scheduled time with Matt, I will be calling him back if the service we selected does not work out.

Matt is very nice and gives you pricing on the spot which is very good. He answered calls and made call backs. He also worked with my schedule trying to match up his own which I really appreciated. He also oversees sprinkler system installation and will sod my back yard and part of the front in the future. I recommend using Land - N - Lawns! I am very glad that I found Matt and company! The two men with him were very polite and it is nice to know that there are companies that still value customer service and this company exemplifies just that.

This is the second review I'm posting for Land N Lawn. I commented on how great they were when I first began using them nearly 2 years. Well, I'm still using them and wanted to write another review on what a wonderful job they do because I know from experience that honest, consistent, hard workers are difficult to come by. Matt the owner is incredibly professional and is always polite and friendly. I don't think he uses subs because I always see him and the same guys week after week. We also own some land and when we're ready to clear it will definitely be giving him a call. I still highly recommend his services to anyone needing help with their yard/land.

Matt Gill and his crew went over and above what they were paid for. My lawn and all bushes were trimmed, everything cleared, front and back yard cleaned and they even cleared the patio of all the excess ivy growing through the wood. This is the second time I've hired them. They delivered way more than I expected at another property that desperately needed work a few weeks prior to this. Great attitudes, very respectful and obviously take pride in their work. I highly recommend this company.
