Kurt Youngblood Framing & Art is a staple of the San Antonio art community. Our store has been servicing art and artists from local to international since 1987. We strive to provide the best quality accommodations for art in your home, office, or public space.

All aspects of picture framing including repair and change outs of mats and art. We do everything in house, even cutting metal and wood frames.Since we keep stock and do everything in house we can rush your order if needed. Offer a hanging service also.

Youngblood listened to our wants and needs for a custom dressing mirror: size, profile, style and special needs. He and his professional staff met all wants and needs. The mirror and frame are spectacular: functional and aesthetic. The attention to detail and quality of work are top notch.

I can't tell you how great this company was.  I have had things framed at other places in town and never will again.  Kurt and his staff were patient helping pick frames and matting.  the finished project is wonderful.  The artist loved the presentation.  will use them again and have already refered to friends and family.

The framer did an excellent repair job especially due to the problem that the frame was made incorrectly initially and had to be remade to correct the flaw. The award was undamaged and the frame still beautiful (the wood is amazing).


The second piece has to be re-matted due to damage on the mat. We trusted to the professionals at Youngblood's to select the new matt color and the piece is astonishing.

First I worked with an associate to determine the appropriate frames and mats for one print and four photographs. He was very knowledgeable and provided many alternatives for me to choose. We spent close to 45 minutes selecting the frames and I didn't feel rushed at all.
The frames were completed in less than the scheduled time and they looked perfect.
