KEYVAN ORIENTAL RUGS SVC

The good - completed on time (2 weeks) as promised, rug is cleaner. The bad: horrible, rude, ugly customer interaction. Areas of the carpet are still dirty, not as white clean as the rest of it (not talking about stains), there are stains that almost look like the color bled, the carpet does not lay flat anymore (btw when Olmos Rugs cleaned it is was only $200, laid flat after and was pristine). I am not sure that any effort was made to work on the couple of stains. When I questioned the owner who had told me on the phone he would give me a good price to clean, about the price of $550!!! he said that was what he charged then offered to do it for $450. I believed him (three times) when he said that is what he charged but he was insulting to me when he pulled invoices to shove in front of me and prove it. I should have left then. It is horrible that someone can be so very unhappy with the world and treat others the way that he does. I hope that he finds happiness somewhere. He is not sharing it at his business.

I was able to roll it up and put it my car, so I saved a lot on the pick-up-and-delivery charge. Father and son shop, I think. Father was impressed by my carpet and took good care of it. Also got a new pad for a base, after a gentle scolding about not taking proper care of the rug. Pricey but good.

They are horrible. He charged my insurance company $4440. Basically the one rug that he charged $2000 on had to be written off by the insurance company and they still had to pay $2000 to clean it. The guy had no integrity, he misdated the estimate and charged way over the estimate. Actually it wasn't even an estimate, it was an agreed upon price and then he claimed that we didn't include the cleaning charge or whatever. It was a horrible experience.
