They have been excellent and I would highly recommend them. They are very knowledgeable on the houses in this area and are family operated. They go above and beyond, give great customer service, and I will definitely hire them again.

GREAT,LOTS OF CALCIUM CAME OUT EVEN THOUGH ONLY 1 YR OLD WATER HEATER. SA HARD WATER WILL AGE EARLY IF YOU DO NOT FLUSH AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR.

Very professional and responsive.  Mr. Kelso came as as soon as possible, fitting me the same day, in between other appointments, because of an early weekend.  He explained everything beforehand and was less expensive than his original quote.
They have been our plumbers since 2005 and will continue to be for a long time!

I was very happy with them and I would and will use them again and refer them to my friends and neighbors.

We were told that Al's son would be supervising the job however he disappeared shortly after they started. Mike, who was in charge did not appear to know what he was doing or just didn't care about the service he gave us; we constantly had to check his work and constantly had to have some of the work redone to get it right. It got to the point where we asked to see his journeyman papers as we didn't believe he was qualified. One time we even caught him sleeping in his truck while his helpers (who were in training) were doing the work.
We had many conversations with Al but he was busy working on a big job and wasn't as available as we would have liked. In the end the job was completed - it was just unfortunate that Al's son wasn't able to do the job and that he was short staffed and we had to deal with this crew that either didn't care about doing the work or wasn't experienced enough to take on the job.

The crews were punctual, worked very hard, and got the job done. The only delays were due to heavy rain, which turned the tunnel into a mudhole. Cleanup after was satisfactory. A very good job overall.

Kelso Plumbing has always done a superb job over the forty years that our family has used them. It is a family owned business and a new generation is slowly doing the majority of work, but the excellent work is still being done. We really appreciate their work and the knowledge of our particular situation since we are living in an old house with often unique plumbing features peculiar to the age of the house. In this particular instance, the normal augering from the washer discharge was ineffective and they had to resort to changing the tools to go from the roof vent. This procedure was successful. This was accomplished by going offsite to get new tools, but they did not charge for the extra offsite time. Unfortunately, in our case there always seems to be some complication(s) which they manage to solve. Our family would not think of calling any other plumbing provider at this time.

They do come as soon as possible. We have pretty good access with them. They are good about being available because they even came one time some years ago a day before Thanksgiving. We had a sewage problem. They came out right away at the end of the day which we were surprised. We were expecting we would have to deal it with, but they came out at the end of day and solved that problem. I really appreciated that. He tried to get here as soon as possible. They are very pleasant and very professional.

They were very good, very professional. I gave a time to come and they came within 5 minutes of that time. They did the work very quickly and it was very reasonable.

I have been using this company for years. Recently Al Kelso, who founded the company, retired and his son took over. Since then the work has been shoddy;In one case caused damage (the son installed an in line refrigerator water filter backwards and the flow reversed). We returned from vacation to find our kitchen flooded. They fixed it and because of our long term relationship, we hired them recently to install a water heater. I was quoted two hours of work MAX at $90 per hour to remove and install. In an attempt to save money, I removed the old water heater myself and bought the necessary hoses and pipes at Lowes. The bill was DOUBLE what they told me would be the maximum. After this work they left the cover of our water gage off and some of their tools laying on our lawn. NOTE: Previously, after a couple of months of poor water pressure, we found out they had failed to fully open the water valve back into the house. Save yourself some grief/expense and find another plumber.

Kelso is a very honest family business and we've used them for a long time, on and off. They are always polite and helpful, and have solved any problems that have arisen. They charge by the hour.

Kelso Plumbing are very prompt in looking after our plumbing needs over the past couple of years and always charge us a reasonable prices for their work. They were here in the fall to change cartridges in our leaky faucet; the service man was efficient and very nice to speak with. I will call them for all my plumbing needs in the future as everyone seems very professional and knowledgeable in their area of work.
