+ -1 moreThe whole experience went very well. The communication with John was excellent. His recommendation as to what kind of Sod to use was much appreciated and it was "right on". My yard looks great!
Description of Work: John and his Wife installed Sod in my back yard. It is a very small area, therefor the price was rreasonable.I waited with writing a report to see how the grass did. It is doing great and I am happy with the job.

+ -1 moreI had called to schedule service. I expect that he would need to see the job before he could give me a price. I called and left a message. He was very prompt about calling me back. I gave him my address and told him that the area that needed the most attention was the easement behind my home. I advised him that I would be going out of town over the weekend and invited him to go by the house when he had time and call me back with an estimate. He never called back. San Antonio has had good rain recently so I guess business is really good.
Description of Work: I needed my lawn cut, edged, a weed eater along the fence line and leaf blown. These services were not done. I asked for an estimate and I did not get a call back.

+ -1 moreOn March 22 I contacted John's Gardening. John came to my home and gave me a quote. He was professional and very friendly. On March 29 he and his Wife came to do the job at the time agreed upon. They did a great job working together and were nice to talk with. I am considering letting my yard person of two years go and hire John to do my lawn. I would highly recommend John's Gardening. I read the one badly rated review on John and suspect that person might have called a wrong number. My experience with John and his Wife has been above reproach.
Description of Work: John and his lovely Wife cleaned and flushed the gutters on my home. The cost was the same that I paid another company previously. John and his Wife did such a good job that I even gave them a well deserved tip (which I don't normally do when I pay for a service).

Description of Work: John handles my weekly yard work, with the exception of the back yard, which has minimal grass. John is extremely reliable, professional, thorough and efficient. I have been a customer of John's for about 6 or 7 years. Over the years, John has done a myriad of jobs for me. He has trimmed all my trees and hauled everything away; he has cleaned the gutters on my house; he has spread fertilizer; he has repaired a crushed granite path in my backyard; he has planted plants; he has gotten rid of excess leaves in my backyard; he has spread dirt and lawn dressing. In addition, he repaired my lawn mower for me and has fixed a couple of outside faucets when they malfunctioned. I have always found John's prices to be fair and reasonable and I am a very satisfied customer of his!

+ 1 moreHe comes out every week. He is reliable and does excellent work. We can depend on him to show up and do what he says he would do. He is very reasonably priced. He also does extra things like fixing my lawn mower. He is a very handy person.
