I called the previous evening, and told the lady that I suspected the van needed a right side cv axle assembly replacement, and she said they would inspect it at no charge if I could get there before nine o'clock the next morning, which I did. Arturo test drove the van the next morning and confirmed my suspicion about the right drive axle causing the steady bumping during acceleration. He said that the transmission was shifting a bit hard, and that It might be better to take it to a transmission shop first. I told him that I would take it to a transmission shop as soon as I can afford to, but right now I just want to replace the drive axle assembly, so that it doesn't cause any further damage. So they gave me the estimate of $190.00, and told me they should have it ready within a few hours. They called me at home several hours later, and told me that the van was ready, so I picked it up about 2 PM. The total bill was $187.50, which was less than their estimate, so I was very pleased about that. The previous day I had been charged $334.00 by a different shop for replacing the left drive axle assembly, when they had already told me that they were going to replace the right side axle assembly. So the first shop (Wynn"s Automotive) did not replace the axle which I had been told was the problem, and I had to have done again two days later at Jim's Loop Auto, after seeing their rating on Angie's list, only this time the replaced the correct axle, and for considerably less money than the other shop charged for replacing the wrong axle. I have already recommended them to one of my grandsons. The van runs very smoothly now; no more thumping and bumping.

I purchased the part myself and the ladies did the labor. It took about 30 minutes as it was a more difficult job. They have really great service and I would definitely use them again.

They were very reasonable and nice. They're very prompt and easy to deal with. I was very satisfied.

Jim is as good as they come. I think during my last visit that they were a bit squeezed for time and didn’t do everything I had asked. If it wasn't for them my truck wouldn't run and I have been going to them for years.

Called for an appointment and took the truck in the next morning. They checked out problem and found a in-line fusible link had blown. They replaced fuse and it was good as new.

I would not recommend anyone else. He does good work in a timely fashion at a good price. He is honest.
