Project was to be completed in 9 months after 17 months we wondered why it was taking so long and why no one was working on our property. It was determined the J Bellamy Custom Homes owner Jason Bellamy (also owner of JRB Construction LLC) was NOT paying the subcontractors. When asked for all documents on my property he stated he would get them to us and that has yet to happen so I believe if we can get the cost documents we can prove fraud and have Jason put in jail. Jason admitted in a meeting that he misappropriate funds for my project. Jason Bellamy used his own mother to commit fraud by having her go to one of the subs and get them to sign a release form without being paid. Jason had been paid for all the work in advance. I had to repay subs in the amount of $40,000.00. In addition, we had a fire at the construction site and J Bellamy Custom Homes in the contract was paid for Builders Risk Insurance but J Bellamy Customs had NO INSURANCE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR ANYONE aasociated with J Bellamy Custom Homes or the owner Jason Bellamy. He is not an honest builder.
