Heavy rains caused internal flooding. Spoke with the manager who said someone could be there in @ 2 hours to provide estimate. Estimate was provided on a tablet and the guy talked about extraction, carpet removal, some sort of spray and dehumidifiers. He then produced a contract where you agree to pay the estimate and called the office to dispatch a crew. The second guy showed up about an hour later, cut up the wet carpet and removed it and turned on the dehumidifiers. There was no extraction of water done before the carpet was removed and no spray. The dehumidifiers were left for 2 days and they returned on Monday to check the progress. Everyone I spoke with was pleasant and they answered all the questions I had. They were also supposed to provide and estimate for replacing the floor when things died down. Overall they did well at responding and getting the carpet out. The price seemed a little high but it was emergency service and they responded when a company I had previously used failed to. They are a preferred contractor for my insurance. A copy of the detailed estimate would be nice. Have not seen an estimate on the replacement yet.

I was really impressed with the way that the guy talked with me about the job. The estimate he gave me was one of the lowest estimates, which concerned me a little bit. Next, I went on Angie's List and his company had 2 Fs. When I went to the BBB list I saw they had an A, but only because they had resolved all of the complaints. They literally had over 10 complaints in the past 36 months.

It didn?t work because the smell is still there.

I contracted him back in 2004. The whole experience was awful from start to never finish. I had to fire them because there was no supervision of employees. They weren't punctual, they showed up and than I wouldn't see them again for a week. Overall I would not recommend this company to anyone. All they were was a very massive headache.

These guys always come on time and do a real excellent job. The workers have always been really clean and thorough since we've used them which has been for 3 years. They also offer great pricing.

They didn't ask or tell me what they were they doing. I was in another room with the plumbing and came back to them cutting my rugs. They told me not to worry about it, they were a restoration company and they would have things looking like the way it was before. I said he didn't have permission to cut them. They then left six dryers and three blowers which kept tripping the breakers. They came back and flipped a switch, but I told him to take everything out and he said that he didn't have a truck big enough (this was a Saturday). They came on Monday and took the equipment. My insurance agent called and told me that we were NOT covered and I called Independent care and they came to pick up there things and came right away. When I called them back to finish the work, i.e. fix the rug and the holes in the vanities and move the furniture back and replace items in the book shelf, they wouldn't return my calls. They told me that they put a lien on our house but refuse to finish the work.

Excellent job, also came within days to do the job.

The work on the tile and grout was unsatisfactory at first. After I sent written complaints out, the company has done all they could to meet my expectations and make their work good.

The prices during their specials are great. The carpets felt clean when he was finished. I had to move most of the furniture in the kitchen myself (all the chairs) so the technician could reach the areas that needed a good cleaning. The floor tiles looked clean but the grout was still discolored unevenly. Overall, their prices are unbeatable for the work they do.

The guys from Independence Carpet Care were right on time, very professional and did a great job. Between 2 dogs and a little girl, my carpets were in bad shape, now they look like new.

I have my carpets cleaned twice a year by Independence Carpet Care and we have been pleased with their professional services. The people are punctual, do a nice cleaning of the heavy traffic areas and I usually feel comfortable with them in my home. I had one bad experience with a late man who had an unpleasant demeanor when he arrived, I called the company, and they apologized and sent someone out to replace him. I will continue to take advantage of their great cleaning specials, as they do a nice job of our carpets every time.

Independence Carpet Care was just great. I just can't say enough good stuff about them. Their price was almost unbelievable, as low as it was. We will for sure use them in the future. You can't beat the price or the service.

Independence Carpet Care did a great job on our carpets. They do offer a great price for the service that they provide. They were able to get all of my stains out of my carpet. I feel that they were very helpful because they did help me move all of my furniture and then moved it all back when they were done. I had a great experience with this company.

We've used Independence several times, and call them as needed. They do a great job and we're very happy with them. They move the furniture carefully and replace it. They pulled up all stains and cleaned the heavy traffic areas well. It dried within a few hours. We like the people they send out because they are all very professional and nice.

Independence Carpet Care did not treat me fairly. They tried to make me agree to a higher price than was first quoted to me. They showed up twenty minutes late. They charged me double taxes on the bill. They did not move furniture. I had to move it myself. After complaining to the company, they offered a discount on their next service.

Everything was just great with the carpet; we did not have any problems at all. We are real happy with the results and the carpet looks real nice. They gave us a scheduled appointment as soon as possible and were on time. The price was very reasonable and we are quite satisfied with the work.
