I recently had the pleasure of working with David, a local landscaper who brought our landscaping vision to life and created a truly remarkable backyard oasis. I was very satisfied with Image Landscape. They came in and just fixed it. I have no problems whatsoever. It was pricey. They are extremely professional. They're very knowledgeable about landscaping. They do a very good job. Since then, I've referred them to a number of friends already.

He came and explained that the deal was not properly presented by Angie's List. That it was for $100 TOWARD a conceptualization. Not the conceptualization itself. It was a rip off. He was very brusk and seemed to feel put out by the whole appt.

The plans he gave me were not complete enough and the pricing was too high for that.

It was a bad experience.  The gentleman never followed up with the plans.

David, Mark, and all of the workers were responsive, prompt, reliable, courteous, and hard working.  We are 100% happy that we chose Image Landscaping.

It was fine and they did a good job! They were punctual and very polite workers.

The service was excellent. We hired them because a friend of ours used them one a smaller job. She was quite pleased with what was done to her yard. The people were great. We were very pleased with service. We had a lighting storm that hit ground and blew out the sprinkler system about a week after the installation. They were out within two days to install a new one.  They exceeded our expectations. They were very responsive and did exactly what we wanted.

Never was able to get contractor to set up appointment.  I made first contact several weeks after purchasing the service.  Contractor was overwhelmed with response, had family issues, and said that he would get back to me soon with appointment time.  Months later (this spring)  I contacted him again, and was told that he would get back to me as soon as he could check his schedule.  Never heard from him again.  I give up.  Wasted my money.

It took several months before he was able to come out due to Angie's list selling too much of his special. I thought he would draw out a plan but instead I was told what plants should survive in various areas of our home hand written on a piece of paper. He referred to a book to help decide our options. It was not what I expected but it met our needs.

The gentleman who came out was very nice. I chose this service due to the special. Would not have done it without the special.

He couldn't handle his coupon business.  He would not schedule an appointment with us until all coupons ordered prior to us had been redeemed.  Once at my house, he tried to upsell a more expensive plan and his landscaping services.  After he realized that he wasn't going to upsell us, he sketched out a rough landscape plan for my front bed.  It was rough, but it was exactly what we needed.

He came by because he was in the area, did not actually set up a scheduled time. It was dark when he came and he was literally there for 15 minutes and then left and he never called me back. He came out, took a look at my yard, but didn't even walk around the whole perimeter. He did not assess the entire yard. I called him and he said the service had been done already-but he didn’t absolutely nothing. It was an assessment. He even said that he usually charges $200/hr He gave me no advice or recommendations. He did not even provide the services I purchased. If he were to put something into a written document, he said that would be an extra charge.  I never heard from him again.

He did an excellent job. He is extremely reliable and he gets the job done in the quoted amount of time without weather being a factor. He manages his people and really supervises the job.

We bought the Angie's list Big Deal and called the contractor. He explained that he was overwhelmed with the response to the big deal and would we mind if re called us back to schedule in 30 days. He never called back


As a Response to the response of my review, the contractor has not called, but I would be willing to take his call if he is still interested in completing the work. I am not happy that I am still out $99 and I am not happy with Angie's Big Deal's

From start to finish, I could not be more satisfied.  The approach to the front of my home has been transformed.  I have had a number
of friends and nieghbors comment on how much they like the new look.  David's crew were on time, true craftsmen, and sensitive to
the fact they were working on my home.  David was constantly present, asking my feedback, which I really appreciated.
I would not hesitate referring David and his Company to a friend.

The came and did an estimate, and came back and completed the work.  The workmen were wonderful and did an outstanding job.
The were punctual, completed on the date they said they would and the end product is great!

The contact time for the owner of this company was very long, due to his being overwhelmed with responses to the Angie ad. Then he did not respond and I had to call him several times due to an illness and death with father-in-law. Still, this made us not want to allow him to do any work for us. Too bad. We really wanted landscaping work done.

Company did not respond for repeated requests for an appointment.

We attempted to contact Image Landscape Development approximately one week after our purchase of the Big Deal. We called two times and left messages with no response and emailed with no response. Upon our third phone attempt we were able to contact Mr. Spradling who let us know he had been overwhelmed with response to his Big Deal and would be completing landscape designs in the order they were purchased and would therefore get back with us in two weeks time. Two weeks later we attempted to contact Mr. Spradling via email and phone (left message) with no response. We attempted again at the beginning of August and were told that it would take another two weeks. Two weeks later we called and Mr. Spradling said that there had been a death in his family and that he would get back with us. We attempted to contact him again at the beginning of September at which point we let him know that our Home Owner's Association had sent us a notice to attend to our lawn (we moved into our home June 22 and had purchased the Big Deal because our house had been vacant and the lawn unattended for two years) and Mr. Spradling said he would get back with us. Approximately three weeks later, we contacted Mr. Spradling and reminded him that the HOA was contacting us and he stated he had an opening and would come on September 27.

Immediately upon arrival, Mr. Spradling showed me a detailed conceptual plan from another home which he informed me would cost an additional $200. He explained that he could spend about an hour providing consultation OR he could use that time to go back to his office and create a plan that he would apply the $99 towards (but this would be an additional $200). When asked about a detailed plan he said he could quickly scratch something if we had a piece of paper he could use. At the time I thought I had misread the big deal and so I did not openly question the information. Mr. Spradling walked with me to our front yard where he told me he would answer my questions. When asked about a wall, he provided an estimate. He told me he likes to look at landscaping in other yards in neighborhoods to see what plants do well in the area whereupon we went to our neighbors yard and he told me about their plants. He let me know that one of the plants in our front yard would grow to be too large for the area it was located and provided an estimate for moving the plant. I let him know a friend was giving us six trees and he said that it would be a good idea to plant them. We traveled to our back yard where he let me know that we needed shade and when asked about a patio, he provided another verbal estimate for work that could be done. After Mr. Spradling left, I returned to the big deal information and found that it did state that we would receive a conceptual plan and consultation for $99. I went online to look up 'conceptual plan' thinking that perhaps my understanding of a conceptual plan was incorrect but found definitions that align with my understanding of a conceptual plan (drawing of area with plants including names of plants, etc). I felt the information I received from Mr. Spradling was similar to what I have received from going to several local nurseries mixed with information we would receive from an estimate (cost of building a raised wall and patio)...all of which would be free. We purchased this deal in order to get an idea of specific plants to put in specific places in our yard, a conceptual plan. Mr. Spradling left without providing a conceptual plan or any indication that he intended to provide a conceptual plan unless we paid the additional $200.

At first I was very surprised to be contacted by someone that I had not purchased the Big Deal from.  I did receive quality plans but I did pay a lot more for them.  At first this concerned me but it was the right thing to do.  The original company came out to discuss the plans we had purchased from the other individual.  We told him we wanted to do this job in stages.  He came out to discuss the plans and never called back with any quotes on the work. He was also to provide me with pictures for ideas.  I sent an email to him and did not get a response.  I don't know what type of work they do but I'm very disappointed that he did not respond with estimates after we paid for the detailed landscape plans.  I answered no to if I would use this company again but I need to know why they did not respond to giving us the estimate.
