I did not want to give any stars. We purchased windows and sliding glass doors for our home March 2024, since the installation May 2024 we have not been able to utilize or 4panel glass sliding door due to the door getting jammed and a defective lock. Eric from HD came and tried to repair, drilled a whole in the metal, could not fix and took off with all 3 set of keys to each patio doors. He returned 3 weeks later. Here we are 8/29/24 finally received the replacement to come and find out its the wrong color. We have paid the $28K in full and yet no contact from supervisors, no apologies nor no compensation. My advice to do not get any major home improvement from Home Depot, yes they guarantee the work, but forget to tell you it may take months for the repair or replacements.

They got it the way we wanted it. They followed our wishes and provided us what we were looking for. They could have paid a little more attention to detail. There were a couple of things they had to redo a couple of times in order to get what we were after.

They installed 25 double pane windows in two days! They were really good! The double pane windows shut down most outside noise.

Back in June we asked Home Depot for an estimate on having tile installed that resembles hardwood flooring. Within two days, Home Depot arrived to take measurements. Two days later, they called us with the estimate. We felt it was a little high, so we went to the store. David in the flooring department was excellent and showed us ways to cut the price down. He suggested we rip out the old flooring ourselves; that we move the furniture ourselves and other suggestions. All in all he got the price down by approximately $600. We were very pleased with the price. We placed the order and arranged for Home Depot to install the flooring too. We were told that once the flooring arrived, the installers would be out a few days later. A week later, we received a call from Home Depot stating that they expected delivery of the flooring on June 21. On June 20, we ripped up our old flooring We arranged for a truck to pick up the new flooring on June 21 from Home Depot. I called Home Depot on June 20 to confirm that the flooring would arrive on the 21st, and I was told that they don't receive flooring deliveries on a Saturday (June 21 was a Saturday). I explained that I had been called that it would arrive on June 21st. They said that it would take a lot longer than that because it was a special order. I asked why an employee would call me and tell me that the arrival date was expected to be June 21 when I was not aware that they don't accept deliveries on a Saturday and I didn't know it was a special order. Anyway, the assistant manager, Marcos, was very nice and apologized and said that due to the miscommunication, Home Depot would deliver it to me. However, the flooring didn't actually arrive until June 30, which was 9 days after the expected date. Then the installers were notified and they called us and said they wouldn't be able to come out until July 24. So much for installation 3 days after delivery of the new flooring.
The flooring has now been installed, and I absolutely love it. I love the quality of the product; the installers were excellent. My only comment would be to future buyers is to take the dates Home Depot gives you with a pinch of salt. We will buy more of the same flooring from Home Depot, but this time, we will know to add several weeks to any dates they give us.
Home Depot's motto should be "More Communicating, more doing."

It took days for the Home Depot installation contractor to contact me.  The worker was relatively young and rather uncooperativewhen I tried to explain the need to preserve the security contact and wiring in the jamb for the new door, which wasn't done.  He stated he wasn't able to do it.  So I had to have a new security contact switch intalled on the door itself and the exterior of the jamb, which I had to pay for and looks crappy.  The worker also left a crack in the wall, and left without installing a pressure treated sill I had paid $45 extra for, which was clearly spelled out on the invoice.

The price they charged us was reasonable. They were polite and very responsive and we asked them to do something about the security wiring and they did that also.

The service provider from Home Depot was punctual and capable. He came to install the front door that I had purchased at their store. The job got done right and looks great! I will certainly use them again.

Home Depot provided an excellent experience. The quality of service was wonderful. The process was delayed a bit due to rain on days. They were so good about getting the fence up as soon as possible, so we understood completely. The privacy fence stands strong and looks great. They really did a perfect job and were very nice in doing it.

Home Depot did a great job installing our windows. The people were very easy to talk to and we were very happy we chose them over the competitors. They also cleaned up their mess when they were finished.

Home Depot really stands behind their work. It is a big organization that works great with people. The service man did a great job on the installation of my carpet. We have had no problems at all with it. They did everything as we didn't have to lift a finger. They had a great selection to choose from.

Home Depot did an alright job for us. The door was installed properly. It opens and shuts perfectly and we have had no cold air come through. The workers were nice people. They were a little late in arriving to our home. We did think they did good work though.
