About us

Hollywood-Crawford Door has been making happy customers in the San Antonio area since 1947. We are the only IDEA Accredited Garage Door Dealer in the San Antonio area and the only garage door dealer in the San Antonio area to have earned the coveted Angie's List Super Service Award every year since 2007. We offer free estimates on repairs and new installations and we also free garage door and opener safety checks in our normal service area. All of our technicians are our employees who have passed a background check and drug test - we do not use subcontractors. We are an authorized dealer of beautiful garage doors from Wayne-Dalton, Clopay, Amarr, and Raynor and dependable garage door openers from Genie and Lift-Master.

Decided to go with this company based on reviews. Let me warn you, go somewhere else. It started off well with Jon coming over to my home for measurements and an estimate and went downhill from there. Jon would return calls days later if he did return them. I spent an entire day trying to verify my install date after I was promised by Jon that it was scheduled. Called the company because he did not respond to my text. It was not scheduled. I had people scheduled to take my existing door off and was waiting on appointment confirmation with this company. Silly that I had to verify my own appointment. Dale, the other salesman, wasn't any help but did offer to contact the owner for a discount of some sort for the issues I was having...that never happened. I paid full price. Only bright star was Elizabeth, who finally got me scheduled first thing in the morning after Dale said it couldn't be done. and Jon never had me on the schedule. Install went well, good workmanship from installers. Total time from payment to install was over 90 days!! That being said, take your money elsewhere and avoid this company unless you like headaches.
