Furniture - Sales
If you are considering shopping at Hill Country Interiors and you “don’t live in their general vicinity”, you might want to rethink shopping with them….and I’ll tell you why (from my experience). We live in New Braunfels and decided to drive the distance to their store because they had the rustic style furniture we were looking for. We bought a couch. The sale went fine. Some time later, we had an issue with the cushions - the cores or material around the cores/cushions weren’t holding shape. We sent photos and they agreed the cores (the foam cushions) should be replaced. We asked when they could be picked up, fixed and returned to us. HERES THE PROBLEM - we were told that because we don’t live in their general vicinity, we would either need to bring the cushions to them or wait until they have work in our area before they would schedule a pick up and then we would have to wait for them to have work in the area again to drop the cushions back off. I would think after spending so much money on a couch, the least they could do when there was a problem (that we didn’t cause), would be to schedule a special pick up and return. So, they have had the cores at their store for some time but we are still waiting for them to have work in our area before our situation can be resolved. They should tell customers that live outside “ heir general vicinity“ before the sale that if there’s a problem, the customer will be required to load up the furniture and bring it back to them or wait until they are in your area for assistance because this saves them time and money. I wrote to the VP on February 17th and was told I was “on the sales persons radar". I’ve had a couple phone calls with the rep since then and there were two occasions a date was set to pick up the cushions but on both occasions, they had to cancel and so it's been a month as of today and I'm still waiting... I think it’s wrong to invite people from all over to shop with you but put those who don’t live near the store at a disadvantage if there’s an issue.

They provide quality furniture. The table I purchased from them wasn't available in that store, but the saleslady found it and ordered it for me.
