At first the job Lupe and workers done was looking good and the gate was working fine for a couple of weeks. There after...we continue having problems with gate not opening or closing using remotes or key pad. We have called Lupe regarding problem & he had to adjust fence and again the fence worked fine but shortly after .... we start having problems again for the fence not working properly. Through out less than a year we still can not get this fence working. From the last contact we had with Lupe, we have not been contacted back to see when we can get this fence working properly. My brother has been trying to get them to go to the house within these last month. We are at that point where he is going to make 1 more phone call to him and if no response or no show..no other alternative but pursue other matters to get our money back. Very unhappy with services.

We did not noticed until later that the iron door was slighted bended on the top panel. I called and he came the next day to look at it and said he would fix it the next day. That was 15 days ago and to date he has not returned. It has a 1 year warranty.

It was a little hard to schedule with them, but I am satisfied with the quality of work that they did. The installation took longer than necessary because they didn't perform accurate measurements upfront, and had to do modifications on site. After they were finished, it was cleaned up, and everything looked nice. I didn't comparison shop, they were a recommendation from somebody at work who had used them for some work, and they could do it in the time frame that I needed.

Our house had been broken into right before we were to go out of town for vacation. I immediatly got on Angie's List to find someone to replace the security door for us, (being that the burglars destroyed our previous one). The gentleman on the phone was very pleasant and assured me that they would be out the next day to give us an estimate on the door. They were right on time. I gave the insurance adjustor the price, (they didn't even flinch as some do). I let them know that the bid had been approved. I explained to them that we were getting ready to leave town and would really like to have the door installed before then. They were able to accomate us so I could go out of town worry free.

While he was friendly via email, I had to keep chasing him down. Finally got a meeting setup on 6/12/14. He was to be here Sat. 6/14/14 around noon. At 2pm he had not arrived or called. I had things to do. Sent him an email indicating so. He never called or sent explanatory email as to why he never showed up.

Very professional initial meeting with Mr. Hernandez. Finished product and installation was perfect. Very reasonable in cost. We were/are very pleased.

the installation was done very efficiently and conscientiously , they were punctual and respectful. I will definitely use them again,

I called in the morning and within a few hours Lupe was out to give us an estimate. We agreed for them to begin the work and Lupe took the measurement of our four doors and we paid him half of the estimated amount. He and his crew delivered the doors and installed them within two weeks. We are very happy with the doors and their service. We would hire them again.

I think these guys probably do good work. I just didn't feel they were good communicators. I also felt they should have brought a photo book with examples of their work.

The work done by Hernandez was outstanding. The quality of the wrought iron enclosures was superb. The workers brought with them all of the tools needed for the installation. The wrought iron bars on the windows and the wrought-iron door in the garage were installed in one day, in a most professional manner. The wrought-iron bars for the patio enclosure were fabricated separately and linked with bug screening inclosures. That installation took place a week later. In the process, the company discovered that the house is lacking in right angles - the initial installation did not fit the opening created by strange angles in the patio roof. However, the workers had with them the means to saw apart some of the iron bars, and an arc-welder to weld them back together, so that the installation would fit. When the work was completed, my wife and I were most pleasantly surprised at the quality of the work. Our kudos go to Mr. Guadalupe Hernandez and his men for a job well done, and we would love to recommend them to others for

We had 4 wrought iron gates made with locks. One gate is a double gate at the entrance to our courtyard. I gave them a picture of a gate I had seen in California and they were able to make the gate look exactly like the picture. They did a fabulous job and were very easy to work with and very accommodating of my schedule. They did the job per their bid with no delays or additional costs.

Never gave estimate. Didn't return phone calls.

Showed up on time, gave a good estimate, did the work on time, did a great job, railings look great.

Made appointment and company did not show up. I called at the scheduled appointment time and they called back. Brother (I think) did not have all the details and would call me back. They never called back. Pass on this company!

It went great- I have used Hernandez Iron Works in the past (which I submitted a report on here almost 2 years ago). Lupe is very nice and easy to work with- he'll come out and, both times I've used them, have had the job banged out in a week. They do great work and they went the extra mile with making the gate decorative. At my last house they even secured the gate on saltillo tile with no problem! Will use this company again and so should you-

Overall, the process was very efficient. We received the bid, met with Mr. Hernandez, and as promised, Mr. Hernandez installed the fences and gate. I am impressed with Mr. Hernandez' integrity and work ethic.

Lupe Hernandez came out for an estimate which he stuck to. His crew was great! I expected some cracks in the tile they fastened the posts to but there isn't so much as a mark where the new gate and fence sits. This is a great company!

Hernandez gave me a prompt estimate, they did the work when promised, and did a good job. I was very satisfied with the work.

Lupe Hernandez came to my house to give me an estimate for the proposed project. He was polite and professional. He was very thorough about asking questions as to what I wanted and what would work best and we decided on the scope of the work. His estimate was $550. I had a couple of other estimates and his was definitely the best. He advised me that the fabrication part would take 1 and half to 2 weeks. I paid half as deposit. Close to the end of the two weeks, Lupe called and said the security door was ready to be installed. His workers came that very afternoon and installed the door quick proficiently and professionally, the work was supervised by Lupe Hernandez himself and inspected by him when the installation was finished. I had been concerned that I would not have my door for summer because I was frustrated by several other companies that I had contacted and from whom I had estimates, but with Hernandez Ironworks, the job was done well and exactly as I was hoping. Great Job!
