Andi has been taking care of our cats for more than four years and our dog for the last eight months. She's done everything from daily potty breaks for our dog to taking care of our cats when we travel. (We board our dog.). She is compassionate and takes great care of our pets. One of our cats died suddenly while we were out of town, and Andi took care of everything: calling us to see what we wanted her to do, taking our cat's body to an emergency vet clinic to ensure she hadn't died of something that could affect the other cats (e.g., poison), and cleaning up the spot where our cat died. She was at our house until about midnight the night before Thanksgiving. As upset as we were, it was very comforting to know that Andi was looking after things at home. We trust her with a key to our home -- and we are VERY careful about who we give a key to.

We have used Happy At Home for 4 years or more now and have always been very happy clients. Most importantly, our dog and cat attest to the great care they recieve in our abscenses. Our cat can provide a few challenges as well (dead birds, dead mice, etc.) and H@H always communicates and takes care of the "mess." Our dog LOVES, LOVES, LOVES Andi - and she's a good judge of character. We have found H@H to be extremely professional and reliable every time - and we use them several times every year. I can't rave enough about how good the service is.

I am very attached to my dogs and I always feel better knowing she is watching them. She texts me pictures to show me that they are ok. Andi has a love for animals that is like no other...she helps strays, she gives so much of her own money to help animals in need. Knowing a person like that is with my babies always makes me feel better. I have recommended her to many friends. I wouldn't want my babies with anyone else.

Andi is the most devoted, professional, and thorough pet sitter we have ever used. She promptly communicates any issues, leaves daily notes when she comes to let the dogs out, and is extremely flexible. She even did late night visits while I was on night shift. She treats our pups like they were her own. We were even able to have her help at our wedding so our dog could be our ring bearer! She goes above and beyond for her clients. We would trust absolutely no one else with our dogs. Happy at home is the way to go!!!

It did not go as i expected. What I found when I got home from the airport is litter box looked like it was not scooped in a day. Water bowl was dirty, kitchen countertops and sink NOT cleaned, my apartment smelled BAD, dirty paper plates left on my floor and my cats crying like they were distressed. I noticed that the canned food was minimally used. Per the instructions I left: contact me once a day with an update on how they are doing. That did not happen. I had to text her and the responses were vague. I asked her to please use bottled water only. I checked the refrigerator and all of the water was still in there. I asked her the question why her response is i bought water for them. I asked her WHY? I never received a response. My cats clearly lost weight from her neglect. I also asked my housecleaner what was the state of my cats litter box, water, and food. She told me that the litter box was not scooped, water bowl, dry food bowl was empty. She violated the terms of the agreement and the instruxtions I provided I have evidence to prove what I am saying is true. While I pointed out all of this I got nothing from her no explanation or her explanation did not answer my questions. I am still distressed by what happened to ny cats.

"While I try to please all clients, it is simply impossible to please all. Especially when there is miscommunication from the start. She missed our initial meeting because she forgot and went to a Fiesta event instead. I did not charge her for my hour lost. Then she called to say her trip times has changed. She left days later than scheduled so I had to cancel other clients. She came back on the 20th, not the 18th. I had to use all of the bottled water she left me in order to wash out the bowls that had thousands of ants in them. Then I washed the bowls with the filtered water to remove any residue from the exterminator treatment (which still did not kill the ants). When I would send texts to her, I would not receive a response. On my last visit, I was not able to get to her apartment because there was a man in the parking lot exposing himself and fondling himself. I did not feel comfortable walking past him. So, yes, the litter [Member Information Removed] went unattended for eight hours. Not only did I not charge her for the full amount of the assignment, I sent a Pet Supplies gift card in the amount of $50. She told me she did not want to hear from me or receive any texts from me, so why would that be a complaint? If I can't explain myself (because she insisted on no further communication) how will she know my reasons for doing what needed to be done."

It always goes extremely well. We're leaving next week for about a week and have hired the best pet nanny we've ever had! She's already been out to our home to go over whatever she needed to have....key to the front door, emergency numbers (i.e., the traveling veterinarian), how to turn off the security alarm system, where the cat food and water are, Boots' hiding places when she hears someone come in, ways to contact us, things like that.

They are on Angie's List. She was wonderful. She charged about $50 a day but she stayed over at night which was huge for us. Plus she watered all of our plants as we have a large backyard. We were running at a hundred degrees temperature and everything was well taken care of and the dogs were spoiled. We came home and the dogs looked at us thinking we should have gone for a little longer. She was wonderful and I love her. She was very professional of course. She was very sincere with the animals. When she came in they immediately loved her though she was complete stranger there was some kind of wonderful connection that she makes with animals. I have one dog that does all kinds of different tricks when we ask him to and he pulled them all out for her. He just wanted to show off and I had no treats in my hand, he was just doing it because she was there and wanted to show her what he could do. She's almost like a dog whisperer. We interviewed her and we also interviewed another one and both were very good but we chose her because she was one person and she would be the one doing all of the work. We have her on speed dial.

After recently moving to San Antonio, we have had the opportunity to use Andi's services twice. I am a veterinarian and extremely attached to my pets. It was such a relief to find someone like Andi to take care of them when my husband and I have to be away. She obviously loves animals and is very reliable....it's a great comfort to be confident that they are being well taken care of (maybe even a little spoiled) in our absence. We have 2 large dogs (Rottweilers), one of which is very wary of strangers, but they immediately seemed to take to Andi. We even did a couple of trial runs with visits before our first real trip to make sure the dogs would let Andi into the house. It turns out they both loved her and would get really excited and bring her toys when she arrived. We feel so lucky to have found someone we can trust.

She's great. She comes right to your house, she'll stay for the night. We use her all the time. She's really dependable, good with the animals and you can tell she really cares about them. She sends photos so you know everything is okay. When I come home, everything is in order.

My sister in law was very sick and I had to go to LA quickly. She passed away and instead of being gone a week I was gone over 2 weeks. Andi was flexible and watched them the extra week with no problems.
She is wonderful, loves your babies and I would use her again and recommend her to anyone.
My babies were happy, looked great and I did not get the cold shoulder.
