He did some carpentry and he got us a stronger rod to hold the clothes on. It was an average call or an average service.

He did a horrible job and I had to redo it myself. I will never use him again, I would not recommend him because he didn't know what he was doing.

I plan to continue using Handyman Connection for general household maintenance every 2 or 3 months. They surveyed the work needed, gave me a price, and the work was started at the exact time promised. The deck staining was the major portion of the cost since I live in a community that does not allow spray staining of decks, so it had to be done "by hand." (I indicated "B" on price because I think it was fair and reasonable. I reserve "A" for prices I think are unusually inexpensive)

We set up for an estimate appointment and were pleased that it was going to be on-time and sure enough it was on time.  The remodeler looked at what needed to be done based on what we wanted, which was basically change out the fixtures, vanity, cabinets, toilet, lighting fixtures, and faucets.  I was pleased to hear that for the faucets and commode, he said that he would schedule a licensed plumber.  For the light fixtures and by the way a new vent, he would schedule a licensed electrician.  It really didn't cost anymore, but I was told this was the right way to do it in the state of Texas.  Oh and I had some tile work done too. The same guy that did most of the bathroom also went ahead and did our small deck outside the master bedroom.  He power washed it and put down a really nice stain. I was happy but mostly confident because I knew if they get licensed guys in there I knew nothing could go wrong.  I also get a 1 year warranty.

I am sure glad I paid by the job and not the hour, it was a week of small problems, both mine (prior appointments) and theirs.I marked the team of painters (Ray & Lucas) down on professionalism because they borrowed my hose, didn't bring the right kind of ladder, had to go and get gas for the equipment, and a part blew on the powerwasher.Scheduled for Monday but really did not start till Tuesday, due to the listed equipment issues.
The guys did a great job of washing, they even caulked a problem area twice for me to keep wasp out.  The painting was super and neat. Just wish they had scaffolding to save the plants in the front flower bed.

I went with this company as they offered a great coupon.

They were prompt to arrive at the agreed upon time.  They even called the afternoon prior to confirm.  The guy that did the ceiling fan was different from the guy that did the other stuff.  The ceiling fan guy was a licensed electrician.  They got it all done pretty quickly.

They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and stuck to the original estimate as best they could. I admire a contractor whis honest, punctual and skilled at what they do. I won't hesitate to call them again when need a handyman.Work was completed to my satisfaction and we were very happy from start to finish. Work was completed in a timely manner and the quality of workmanship was very good. It is great to have someone honest and skilled!!!

They came on time, when they said they were going to.  They had to come the next day to finish the job and that was schedule as well.  They brought all of the tools equipment necessary to complete the job.  They did a great job and they did it on a timely basis.

Security light outside was dead. It's up in a tree, about 2 stories up. They tried replacing the bulb but the entire unit needed to be replaced.

Handyman showed up when he said he would, provided an estimate.  Showed up as scheduled with materials and finished the work.
I initially rated this as fair.  After discussing my concerns with the contractor, I'm changing my rating to B (Good).  I should have voiced my concerns with the contractor and given him a chance to answer my concerns/complaints.  Contractor was very courteous and professional.  Willing to work with me to ensure I was satisfied.  That was greatly appreciated, and I would use this contractor again.

Called to get estimates to have ceiling fans and wall mounted ironing board installed. Was told that a handyman could do the iron board, but a certificated electrician would have to do the ceiling fans. The electrician called to tell me he was running late and then never showed up. After calling the main office, they tried to track him down, without much luck, but told me they would call back the next day to have the visit rescheduled. I never received a follow up call and that was the last I heard of the electrician. Meanwhile, the handyman showed up to discuss the wall mounted iron board. He inspected the walls, checked for studs. He said the installation would not be a problem and promptly set up a date to do the work.  Now, here is where the problems begin. He cut three test holes in the wall, just to make sure that there would not be electrical interference. Then he cut a 18x30 hole in the drywall and before realizing that there was an outlet box (given the outlet on the other side of the wall -- which I pointed all these out when he did the original estimate). Now, he says then installation won't work -- after he has cut a huge hole in our wall. But he assures me that he can fix it, and match the wall texture. Not to worry. Well, the patch job looks like total crap. You can see exactly where the huge hole was. The patch was sloppily done. The texture is awful. When he painted the drywall, he did not shake the paint can and it looks like he smeared the paint on with a rag. And to top it all off, we had to PAY him $85 to tear up our new house. Yes, we actually had to PAY for this botched work. It is so bad, that I'm going to have to PAY someone else to come out and try to fix it.  And, we later found a little gift for us outside. When he washed his drywall tools outside, he splashed drywall mud on the exterior of our house.  I would not use this vendor again, nor would I recommend them to anyone I know. Awful craftsmanship!

"We are certainly sorry for the member's experience. However we believe he has mistaken another handyman firm with Handyman Connection because we do not show him in our database and scheduling system as having record. HANDYMAN CONNECTION DID NOT DO THIS JOB FOR THE MEMBER."

Robert arrived on time, had all of the paint supplies needed. I supplied the paint. he started right away and was finished so quickly. He was so good at his craft that he didn't need painters tape. I was very impressed. I would ask for Robert again for future paint projects. Handyman Connection was the right call.
