I have been using Guaranteed Pool Service for nearly a year now and I cannot say enough great things about Mark the owner. He really knows his stuff and will take care of your pool so you don't have to worry about a thing. I have used other pool services in the past and have been extremely disappointed because I had to constantly stay on top of them and had to triple what I pay Guaranteed. My pool always looks fantastic and I never have to pester Mark and his price is outstanding and the service is even better. He takes care of all the chemicals and keeps the pool looking fantastic and I live in an area that is full of mature oaks so we have a ton of pollen and leaves every year but we have had no issues with our pool since Mark started cleaning it. The last pool company I used would charge me double during pollen and leaf falling season as they came out twice a week - but not Mark, it is the same amount no matter how many times he has to come out. Also, I had to have my pool drained twice with the other company becuase they could not keep in clean when the pollen and leaves fell and the pool turned black. I have had none of those issues with Mark. He is not as responsive as I would prefer but then again I haven't had any issues that I have had to contact him about, just silly things like I lost my bill, etc. I never have to call him and the pool looks amazing - and the price is the best I have paid. I recommend him to all my friends who have pools.

Guaranteed Pool Service is a very small company.  The owner's first name is Mark ... oddly I don't know his last name.    When Mark cleans the pool, its clean.  The man knows how to maintain a pool.  He has in the past had other people who work for him clean the pool and typically that's where problems start.  In my experience as long as Mark cleans the pool, its clean. During the spring season, I think Mark is a bit stingy on backwashing in the 78209 zip code.  Think about it ... 78209 is FULL is oaks, pecan trees, and the like.  Essentially HEAVY pollinators.  DE filters plug up weekly during the spring.  Mark work off the schedule of monthly backwashing.  So at times you have to hound him to backwash your pool more regularly during the spring. The issue with Mark is responsiveness.  Typically leaving Mark a voice message is like talking into a black hole.  He rarely calls back.  Its also hard to know when during the week he comes.  He doesn't communicate with his customers in any way like sending out emails or such.  The bill is always punctual. In short: - If Mark cleans, its clean. - Be prepared to badger him from time to time to get things done with you need them. - Be prepared to wonder when he's going to show up. - If he assigns someone else to maintain your pool, be diligent in reviewing the work and make sure things get done correctly. - If you have lots of pollinators in your area, be sure you make sure Mark does an appropriate level of filter maintenance even though he won't want to.
