Bob is a miracle worker.  Initially, our yard looked neglected and sad.  Greens and Blooms brought in a crew of eight hard working men that spent two days transforming our landscape into a show stopper!  Placing our house on the market we were competing with new homes.  Long story short - the house sold in 8 days!  The transformation was amazing.  From every window of the home, the landscape looked beautiful!  I truly believe it made the sale.  I highly recommend this company!

I interviewed 2 other landscapers before our neighbor referred us to Greens & Blooms.  What immediately distinguished Greens & Blooms was the fact that the owner, Bob Jones, is a creative and experienced designer, in addition to landscaper.  Other landscapers did not provide a blueprint of what was being proposed.  There was a reasonable charge for this blueprint, and well worth it when you are starting from no yard. Before the job started, there was no question of what it was going to look like. The blueprint showed us plant beds, specific plants/trees and their size, look of rock/granite flagstone, areas and designated grass areas.  Once the design and estimate were agreed upon the work took approximately 1week for front and back yards.  Bob provided on site supervision of the work and he and Janice (at the office) provided frequent communication on progress.  Greens & Blooms also coordinated landscaping with the implementation of an irrigation system (Carter Irrigation; also excellent).  Bob and Janice were very experienced, professional and timely.  Our yard looks beautiful and I have already contacted Bob for a design for plants/trees for backyard plant beds.  I highly recommend them.

The job was started in mid December and reached completion in early January.  There were weather constraints and the  holidays, however the crews worked diligently to complete the job.  Although this was not the ideal time to lay sod, it was required by the city inspector. The sod was laid and the landscape architect, Bob Jones contacted me to teach me how to protect from a freeze.  the waterfall hasn't been completed yet as the electrician has not drawn the wires, however I am sure they will be out to complete it as soon as that is done.  This is my second project with Greens and Blooms.  They are always very professional, on time, keep the job site clean and reasonably priced.  I highly recommend them.

I had 3500 Sq. feet backyard and need do some grass on it.  I compared 6 companies, Greens and Blooms INC is the most reasonable one and they are just less than 3 miles from my house.   First, they used chemical things to kill all the weeds, and waited for 10 days, started leveling the ground and put topsoil in my yard.  In the end, there are about 2 yards mulch and 1 pallet grass left, they help me to put this in my front yard, and large my backyard grass area without extra charge.  It comes with almost 4300 Sq. feet yard grass when they completed the job.  AND they help me to tune up my sprinkler system (to fit the extra grass space) without extra charge, they also detected the dead spots in my front yard and fixed the grass.  Not to mention, we did change some original garden ideas at last minute, they still had no complains about it.
It's good service, I would really recommend this company.

The crew that did the work was wonderful.  The first day they did the front and got started on the back but it started to rain.  They hung around waiting to see if the rain would stop.  It didn't.  They came back the next day and finished up.  They were very fast and were very friendly.  They did a fantastic job.  Exactly what we wanted.

Bob, the owner of the company came out initially and provided us the estimate.  He was very professional and explained everything to us.  He really knew his business.

Overall, this was an excellent experience.

Everything was great. I've used them on and off. The first time they came, it was $1,500. They are very friendly and pretty much punctual. If there are any types of problems, they handle it quickly. I have not had any bad experiences with them. Their prices are comparable with everyone else.

Janis helped me each time I have gone to Nursery to purchase plants. She is very helpful and knows about the plants. She was able to give me a lot of information so I would know if certain plants and trees would work in my yard. The Nursery is beautiful and very pleasant to shop there.

I am unable to evaluate the pricing of this project which came to more than I had budgeted, but I know their pricing was below other competitors for the sod.  They provided a very detailed and professional estimate as well as invoice prior to and following the work.  We are very pleased with the undulating design of the beds and the rich, verdent lawn that has emerged in the month since the sod was laid.  The crew of four was very responsive to our requests and worked hard.  They completed the project in a prompt and timely fashion as promised adhering to a schedule that allowed the H3O sprinkler team to follow soon after them to install our backyard watering system. We have no complaints, are very pleased with the results and enjoyed working with the owners, Janice and Bob.  We called Janice at Greens and Blooms, located not far from Kinder Ranch on Borgfeld, at the recommendation of the people at King Ranch Turf, a sod wholesaler a bit further north on Highway #281.  My wife has subsequently returned to visit the nursery and has purchased other plants there.  The convenience of being so close to us, plus the variety of plants available added to the warmth and solicitousness to our needs of the owners (as well as of Troy, the young man working in the shop) all assure us that we will do most all of our gardening and lawn work with Greens and Blooms as our go-to nursery.  --David Jongewaard

I first contacted Greens and Blooms on the recommendation of a friend following an outrageous estimate from another company.  Bob came out, took measurements and photos, looked at the drawings of the other company's bid and said he would get back with us.  We received a written bid about 2 days later at almost half the cost of the other company.  He also agreed to demo the existing deck at no additional cost.  Once their jobs were caught up due to rain, the crew showed up and completed the project in about a week. They did a beautiful job, always had a supervisor at the site, were very polite and professional.  Once the job was completed, they replaced the rocks and mulch theyhad to move to complete the patios, removed all debris.All my husband and I have to do is clean up some stray concrete and put the patio furniture back.  I"ll be sure to use them next year when we plan on more backyard renovations.
