GMK HOME INSPECTION SVC

I hired Greg to do my home inspection after seeing an inspection report he prepared for a different property. He is extremely detailed and includes pictures which makes it very easy to understand. He covered every inch of the property, and even included a foundation level measurement at no extra cost! He even went as far as to check the oven temperature, which he found was 30 degrees off! Another thing that impressed me is how he took the time to go over his inspection in person and explain each and every thing he found that was of concern. His inspection report really helped me get to know the home which I ultimately decided to purchase. I would highly recommend hiring him to inspect a property before purchasing.

We were having Hardie Siding and Pella windows installed. I researched information on these products and felt they were not being installed properly. When I would approach the contractor, there was always a 'reason' why the work was being done this way instead of the correct way. I was desperate because we were sinking a lot of money into this. I looked for an inspector on BBB and found GMK Home Inspection Service (A+ rating). I called and spoke with Greg Kreusel (owner) who was very sympathetic to my needs. He arranged to come over that very day for a consultation. He found more mistakes than I even imagined. He was very thorough, took pictures, and showed me from the manufacturer's installation pamphlets how the products should have been installed. He went into depth about the consequences of the Hardie Plank and windows being installed improperly. He even took the time to call the manufacturer about detailed items. I also called the manufacturer and everything Greg explained to me was exactly as the manufacturer explained. I highly recommend calling an inspector when remodeling your home. I will definitely call GMK again.
