The technician had to come out multiple times to diagnose and then finally repair the unit, having to negotiate with the manufacturer to honor the warranty. It is now working great, and we really appreciate the diligence of the technician in her attempts and then final repair of our air conditioner.

I guess it was okay. The price was reasonable. We checked on Angie's List and specifically that is what I needed to hook it up. I called them and somebody else. I found out that they can come quickly to do the work than other companies. He did a good job. He did a good work. Everything was okay.

I told the technician that the air conditioner wasn't bringing the temperature down to the setting and I thought the fan speed needed to be turned up. However, he proceeded to do a complete check of the system and then advised me that I had a leak and needed 3 lbs of R22 freon. Since the unit was only 5 years old I told him I didn't see how that was possible. But he insisted I had a leak and the unit wouldn't operate properly unless he added the freon. Since I had no way to disprove his statement I agreed to let him add the R22 freon. I also insisted that he turn up the air speed, which he did. The system has worked well since that time.
The only reason I called this company was because my regular company, RCA Service Co., wouldn't be available for several days. In May of this year, 2013, I had RCA Service come out and check out both of my units. I didn't tell him before he began about a leak being found in 2012 so I could see if I really had a leak. This company has serviced my a/c units for three years and I've always felt I could rely on their honesty. When the RCA Service technician, Roger, was done he said both units were in good condition and he didn't find anything wrong. I then told him about the other company finding a leak and adding freon last year. He looked surprised and went back to double check for a leak and/or low freon.....he did NOT find a leak or a need to add freon. IF the unit had a leak 11 months ago, it would've needed freon by now, but it did NOT. So, it's obvious that the technician with Glen Johnson A/C charged for freon he did NOT add and for additional time that wasn't needed. I was DUPED, just as I thought. He charged me $222 for labor that wasn't needed, $105 for freon he didn't add and $50 for a service call. All he needed to do was turn up the air speed but that wouldn't have allowed him to overcharge me!!!!

They have the maintenance on our air conditioning and heating. They come out every 6 months. They are very competent. They send people whom we know and that have been with them for several years. They do an excellent quality job. We trust them too with our equipment. We pay $230 for 2 units twice a year. We would use them in the future.

I've been dealing with Glen Johnson for about 5 years. Their prices are extremely reasonable. They don't try to push extra work to be done, but they will let you know what could be done in the future. They also give me tips and ideas to keep my systems running smoother and more efficient.

We have two units which are cleaned and checked, we're given a report every time. We've had no problems whatsoever in between visits from Glen Johnson and their workers. They are polite and professional.

This company did a great job with a difficult problem. The overflow drain was running way too much and they figured it out right away....the primary drain was clogged. The service and price were reasonable.
