First off the builder paid the bill as part of my home warranty. So that is why i dont know the price.
They were called on a Friday to come check for mold, they were at my house in 2 hours. They identified a huge problem. By Saturday morning i had an industrial dehumidifier and hepa air filter set up.
when it was time to treat the wood they showed up on time and were very professional. I am not an expert but when they left it looked like they cleaned every 2x4 with a toothbrush. they were completely dry to the touch and the smell was gone.
after the dry wall and tile was replaced they showed up on time to remove their industrial equipment. Again they were fast, clean, and professional.

They left stuff here undone. They kept saying that they would come back and fix it. They sent someone out finally to fix the rest of the things that were left undone. Nails were coming through the ceiling. I would not recommend them. I would hate for someone to go through what I went through. They cleared out the house, and they demolished the house. They forgot to clean out the attic. They were just a lot of fighting. When they started framing, it split. I asked him to take it down and redo it. They tried to put up the kitchen cabinets wrong with a space between the ceiling. We had to argue with him about it. They tried to put up crappy cabinets, and that is not what we paid for. They put in hardwood flooring and left glue on the floor. They dropped paint on the floor. They ordered the wrong windows for our living room. They scratch the vanities in our bathrooms. Gerloff Company Inc throw away our rod iron gates, they were not supposed to. The bay window was put in crooked. I had to make a list for them so that they would get it done. The work was shotty. The caulking around the windows started to crumble. They eventually finished the work after a lot of back and forth and fighting.

It was an ongoing process and they finished it about six weeks ago. Overall, my experience with them was good. I would recommend them to others. They were referred to me. If I had any other repairs or issues, I would use them.

What I thought would be a company that would do what they said as promised by the President of the company turned into a nightmare. My insurance paid for it but I had major issues with the quality of the repairs. The electrical problems continued for several years until I hired an inspection company to assist me. We had the city inspector come out and he made them replace all 3 electrical boxes. There were many more issues, it was one battle after another and the foremans still would not listen to me. The president of the company came out a few times to hear my complaints but the bottom line the men and the contractors they hired did as they pleased. I had plenty of issurance coverage but it was if they were trying to shortcut the replacements in my home to make more profit or commission. They will say they did a lot of extra things for me, and they did. But only after they were forced to. My phone lines still have static.

They were excellent. I have never been so pleased with anyone in my life before. They were very patient. I wanted wallpapers to be put in the laundry room and the bathroom, so I was told to buy it from another company. I went online and found some wallpapers which was in my price limit. Gerloff Company contacted them to match their price and put in the wallpaper. They cleaned up the place well after the work was completed.

After a poor experience attempting to deal with a very heavily advertised and well known company, I was referred to Gerloff, who is the parent company of GCI Remediation, a licensed mold remediation company. Their representative and man in charge of the division, Roger, kept all promises, was on the job frequently, checking his men's work. He kept appointments promptly and did an exemplary job. His men arrived on time, cleaned up well every day, and did the job promptly. I was exceptionally pleased that the (1)licensed independent mold consultant who wrote the protocol GCI was to follow, (2)the state health inspector who made the required inspection of the work in progress, and (3)the contractor I selected to do the build-back, all complemented with highest praise the quality of work that was done by GCI. While the other company's bid was less expensive, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. I would absolutely refer anyone to GCI if promptness, quality, and fair price are priorities.

The job supervisor did not show up and the workers did not show up, when promised on most occasions, causing work delays. They charged for things not done.

They were very professional, came in, & got the job done. They worked very hard & did a good job fixing the leak. The guys cleaned up the best they could & I would recommend them. The homeowners insurance paid for it, so we didn t have to worry about the cost.

Gerloff Company did a great job of getting my home back in store for me. They replaced my front door and did a beautiful job. The window that was broken was removed and the new glass was put in. The carpet they replaced looks terrific and they took care of all of this in a very quick fashion. They were very nice and polite people who understood exactly what needed to be done for me and took care of it so that I could get back to what I was used to.

Gerloff Company was able to finish my bathroom quickly, however, I don't think that they did a very thorough job. My tile grout started to crack right away. I called them right away and told them what was happening. They did come back and redid the whole grouting over at no extra cost. There was no charge to us, as our insurance company covered the whole cost.

Gerloff Company did a super job. The employees were nice and the work was done properly. There were no tacks visible in the carpet. They even moved the furniture and also disposed of the old materials. They cleaned up well upon completion and everything has looked wonderful since they finished.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN TRAUMATIC AND FRUSTRATING. TO THIS DAY, THE WORK IS INCOMPLETE. GUARANTEED WORK HAS BEEN IGNORED BECAUSE THE GERLOFF COMPANY SAYS THEY WERE SHORT A COUPLE OF THOUSAND DOLLARS. MY INSURANCE COMPANY THEREFORE SAYS THE OPPOSITE (MEANING THEY PAID THEM IN FULL).

INSTEAD, THE MEMBER CHOSE TO HOLD OUR MONEY HOPING WE WOULD REPLACE HER FLOORING AT NO COST TO HER."
