Found provider on craigslist. He came by to give estimate. Decided to go with him on price alone, he was aprox. $300 less than my lowest quote. From the time that he got deposit, he never called. I kept calling and finally he came by house and measured. Said that he would finish job when the material came in. Never called and so I had to call and find out what was the problem. Scheduled time to come by and finish. I would pay remainder of deposit at that time. He showed up and said that he would need rest of deposit to finish project. He didnt have enough money to get material without it. Gave money. Had to keep calling him to find status. he finished part of the job which was the installing of the window. Terrible work. Really tacky and not airtight. At that point I would of been happy with just being finished with this provider. But he still hadn't finished with the screen. Said that it would be in 2 days. He promised. 4 days later I called to find out what was the problem. We had family coming and needed it complete. At 1030pm that night we heard banging on house. By the time I came down stairs truck peeling off. I went outside to look. Even in the dark I could tell that it was crooked. Will have to pay another provider to do the complete project over again.
