Wow, talk about professionals. They replaced my garage door opener, the crew was fast and came when they said they would. I, an SGM E9, strongly recommend they for any garage door problem. Tell them Rob recommended them.

Repair solved the problem. Repairman was courteous, professional, and knew how best to make the repairs. His time management and tool use were excellent.

Gand F Garage Doors were very professional for both their estimate and then when the service was performed. This was a father-son team that came out to do the work on the garage door. They arrived on time for the scheduled service (after ordering our new door), and replaced the door with all other required services in about a three-hour period. After completing the installation, they gave me a run-down of required maintenance, explained the details of the door warranties, etc. The work area and outside of the garage were left in better condition than when they had arrived - everything was cleaned up and there were no problems. Gand F was one of several companies we looked at for estimates and they offered the best price for replacing our damaged garage door - I'd definitely recommend them!

Jason arrived when he said he would and installed the door as he said he would. The bill was exactly what he quoted, even though there was a little trouble with the installation due to the age of the garage. Highly recommend them!!!!

Jason came out and gave my wife an estimate of costs and explanation. She was very satisfied with his explanations and in dealing with him. I got a couple of other comparison quotes and saw that Gand F offerred the best prices and value. I called Jason late in the evening and he was glad to answer additional questions.We chose Gand F to replace our garage doors and they came out the next morning as scheduled and completed the installation. I called Gand F Garage Doors on Monday, Oct. 1 at 8:10 AM ... My garage door was broken (roller broken) and i didn't want to leave my car outside. They were here at 9:15 AM and completed the work in about 40 minutes. They were polite and professional and explained everything to me... They gave me 5% for being an Angie's list customer. i had the coupon.
I will definitely use them again.

I called at 10:30 AM, on a Saturday. They immediately answered. I explained the problem, he gave me a quote, and said they'd be here in an hour. They were. They were very friendly and professional. They showed up, replaced the spring, lubed both doors and wheels, and did so in a very timely manner. I dont know if the price was what anyone else would have charged, since they were the only ones that answered, they were the only ones i got a quote from. For making an emergency repair on a Saturday, in the rain, I think it seemed fair. I would definitely recommend them, and use them again, if necessary.

Our garage door went out at 9pm-Monday. Out of desperation I emailed and texted many companies. This was the only one that responded promptly. They came out the next day. The father/son team was great. The garage door is even quieter than before which is a plus. They even gave me some tips on how to have the spring last longer by oiling it every two months. I would recommend their services to my friends.

I called them and they responded very quickly, probably within the hour. Jason called and said he was in the area and would be over shortly. The problem was more problematic than I thought. At first it seemed to work fine but after a few more times it started not working correctly again. They found that it was the motor that was the problem. They were very methodical but still got it fixed. I was very impressed with their teamwork and the response time. They were very professional and friendly. Most importantly they kept me apprised of every procedure they tried and what lead them to believe the motor was the problem.

The workers should up on time and go right to work replacing the broken spring and garage door cables. I couldn't get the car out of the garage when the spring suddenly broke so the fast same day response was appreciated. I was pleased with the service.

Late last night (5-8-12) I heard a loud noise and realized in the morning that my garage door was broken. My husband noticed the cables weren't connected and couldn't even manually lift the door. I did my research on Angie's List and gave these guys a call. They were at my house within an hour which was great!
When they got here, I let them in the garage through the house and stepped away for a phone call. Within a few minutes, I heard noises that sounded as if they were repairing the door. At first I was a little worried because I expected to be given an estimate first, but since they had begun the work I printed the Angie's List coupon and crossed my fingers that they would be fair with the price.
It took them about 30 minutes. The work order says they replaced the tension spring, re-installed tension cables, and adjusted/lubricated door - all for $123.50 (waived service fee and 5% off).
I thought that price was very fair and you absolutely can not beat same day (heck same hour!) availability. Now my garage door is quieter than it has ever been since moving in to my house. Pick these guys, you won't be disappointed!
PS - the technician advised me to lubricate the door in 6 months and thereafter every couple of months. He showed me all of the places to spray and told me what to use. This was much appreciated.

It was perfect. They called back immediately, came out to estimate on time, allowed me some time to get another estimate (which was signifcantly higher), and came back to do the work the same day.

It took about an hour to repair. I was running late and they were gracious enough to start while I was on my way and they were just about finished by the time I arrived home.

They took the old panels and the trash with them and cleaned up the garage!

Garage door wouldn't opperate. I noticed the loose chain and saw that it was off the pulley and that the pulley was broken. Since it was Craftsman garage door opener, I called Sears repair. They could not come for 10 days, so looked up garage door repair on Angie's list. Gand F came out the same day, arrived on time, were prompt with repair, had needed parts on hand. Jason was professional and courtious. Would recommend them over others that could not come out the same day and quoted service charges that were almost as much as G and F charged for the whole repair.

Very good experience. They responded to my call for service in relation to noisey garage door in about an hour. They listened to the door noise and then went to work to resolved the problem(s). Explained that much of the noise was from the chain-driven motor and that the chain was a little loose. Also, recommended that the rollers could be changed to ones that contained ball bearings (current rollers did not have ball bearings) and they would roll much more quietly. Sone of the rollers were wobbly, which help create noise. They were not pushy on replacing the rollers, but I had them replace all the rollers. When they finished, much of the noise was gone. They said that was as much as could be done without changing the motor and considering a cable operating system to replace the chain operated one like I had. Again, they did not try to persuade me to make the change-out. I appreciated their honesty and non-pushy approach to try and sell me things I did not need. I definitely will call them again as a need arises, especially for a yearly tune-up of my garage door system.

Excellent experience overall. Received quote considerably lower than other companies contacted. Received prompt scheduling and response--able to show up under 3 hrs. George Jr. was very courteous and professional and completed the job under 1 hr. He inspected the garage door motor as well. I will use this company again and recommend them to others.
