Gaines Softwater

My story is just like the one left by Chris H in 2018. I would stay for away from this company. I am not sure how I ended up with them on the phone. They told me it was simple maintenance and the would be an 89.00 trip fee. Upon arrival the tech had no tools and was in a personal vehicle. Looked into the salt tank and brine tank, the inside toilets and said i needed a new unit. The Tech also told me that maintenance parts for the unit were no longer manufactured and could not be obtained. I told him thank you for your time and paid him 50 for his time and parted ways. I went inside and did what I should have done to begin with and ordered everything I needed from Amazon and the replacement part will be here tomorrow.

Googled Culligan and got phone # for this company Scheduled a service call for between 12 & 3 Mitch Gaines showed up at 12 and checked toilets for "resin" Said needed to replace unit. Suggested $5000 system I said no. Suggested $1200 rebuild. By this time I was suspicious. He said his $89 service charge(he didn't do anything to the unit) would be deducted from the $1200. I called the right Culligan #, they came out repaired the equipment for $92, with a 90 day warranty. I can't recommend this company. Buyer beware.
