I had used this company in October 2006. I had them do work on changing locks, installing new lever handles and making new keys. The cost was $578.67. On June 6 I called the company to repair the lever handle that had fallen off the front door. (A handle they installed!) A young man arrived 1 hour late but he was very nice and professional. After simply screwing in the existing pin that took approximately 5 minutes he advised me that he had to charge me $71.90 as per instructions from his dispatcher. There had been no estimate on the cost when I had called. I called the following Monday and spoke to Jothan Fuller to complain about the excessive bill. He told me there was nothing he could do to adjust the cost. I told him I thought it was excessive for 5 minutes work but he refused to budge. I replied that he had just lost a customer and that I would submit a report to Angie's List.

I called and scheduled this over a week in advance. I called two days before the service, and I was not on the schedule. I was added and the service was performed, b-u-t, if I did not called to confirm, the appointment (that I took time off, from work) would have been missed. The serviceman was knowledgeable, it was my impression that it took him a little long to do the install. Probably a reason the price was a little higher than expected. The back door did not close properly, I brought this to his attention, he just closed firmly and said it worked. He brought to my attention that a part was missing from one of the assemblies and that he couldn't install, he opened the packages. He was onsite 1 hour and 20 minutes. In the past, I have had a door lock replaced in 10-15 minutes. Note: I installed the new door lock myself since I had to replace a part, took me, a novice, 15 minutes, the technician was there to replace three and took him 1 hour and 20 minutes.

I provided the lock, and the technician replaced the old one and made sure each key worked without a catch. He adjusted the system so well that this lock works better than my original ever did. I would call this company again if needed.

Called the company and they had a locksmith to our house within 1/2 an hour. They did not provide a written estimate, but we did not ask for one. The locksmith changed every lock in our house so that they all work on the same key, made 5 copies of the key, and copied our mailbox keys. He tested every key in every lock as well as the mailbox. He lubricated each lock and cleaned up after himself in each work area. He was very personable. We would use this company again.

They responded to our initial phone call for help in a timely manner. They made the service call quickly and, as far as we can tell, did a good job as the new tenants have not called to complain. I thought they were a little high--said they charged for both sides of a deadbolt....or something like that.

The experience was pleasant. This company does not keep an assortment of locks in their truck. The technician had to return to his shop to procure an ordinary door lock which took longer than expected, but the whole ordeal was pleasant and normal.
