Went awesome, as usual. Been using these guys since I bought my first house 6yrs ago. My parents used and still use them at their house. Guys are ALWAYS nice and professional. They can generally get to your home in the same day you call about a problem and are always reasonable with the prices. At one point I really thought I would need a new unit since my Trane is a 1995 model. But they serviced it up, cleaned it and flushed it out and told me I would not need a new unit probably for quite a while. What amazing news to hear as a homeowner. Mr. Frias and family are very honest and always there to help and provide information as needed. Will definitly be usinig them for my AC/Heating service as long as I own a home. A+++ Service :)

I have used Frias Air for many years. I always schedule his twice a year inspections for the spring and fall. In the past few years I have had him install a new HVAC fan, clean the unit, and install a new thermostat. He has always been prompt and courteous. His prices are always reasonable. As a senior citizen, it is nice to have a company you can rely on.

Mr. Frias was prompt and efficient. He listened and answered all my questions. The cost was very reasonable. I will definitely use him again for emergencies, repairs and the twice a year inspections. This is an excellent company.

My house is six years old and my air conditioner has never performed quite as well as I thought it should. Not long after I moved in, I complained to the builder and someone they hired came and checked it out and announced it good so I lived with what seemed like a barely adequate system for six years. This year, the system seemed to be freezing up more often than in the past so I decided to have someone check it out. A contractor friend suggested Frias Air as someone honest and dependable so I confirmed they were on Angie's List, called them on Wednesday around lunchtime and we scheduled an appointment for the next morning.
Gilbert and his worker showed up right on time and allowed me to fully explain the problem. They checked the pressure first and found it a little low. There was no outside leak so they said that maybe the coil was leaking. I wasn't looking forward to that expense so was relieved after he checked everything and concluded there were no leaks or other problems. He told me that he did not think it was leaking at all but if it were, the leak was extremely small. So, he added some refrigerant, tightened down the caps, documented the pressures for me and that was it.
Having been using the system for a few days, I can say that it is performing better than it ever has. The days are humid and I'm able to turn the thermostat down lower than I ever could before.

First of all, I challenge anyone to get a better price on a Ruud 3.5 ton 15 seer high efficiency heat pump system installed for $5750. Even got a $437.50 rebate from the electric company as a credit on my bill which will take at least 3 months to use up...not to mention the tax credits I'll get! I have used their services since 1999 and they have always been fair and extremely reasonable. Kept my old system working for 22 years! A very honest family business I can't say enough good things about! Did a really good job and even cleaned up after themselves, vacuuming up the littlest bits of stuff. I couldn't be happier, and highly recommend their services!

I moved to San Antonio and bought a home here 4 years ago. Shortly after purchasing my home, my AC unit went out. One AC repair company told me that I needed to replace my entire AC unit. This would have been costly. I called Frias Air for a second opinion and he fixed my AC unit for $120 dollars. Ever since then he has been performing annual maint on my 12 year old unit and he keeps it running nicely. On this service call, he added about 3 lbs of freon in total to both of my AC units. He is an honest and skilled AC repair person. I highly recommend him.

Non working wall heater -- had another guy come out who worked on air conditioning and installed a water heater, but he knew nothing about gas heating (though he stayed 1.5 hours just to prove it!). Frias came out within an hour of the call (they stopped at a supply house to get a part they thought they might need). They knew exactly what they were doing and fixed it perfectly! They also fixed a gas log set-up I've got and didn't even charge me since it was a no parts adjustment. They guys are my new go to folks for heating -- and I erased the other guys phone number!

overall service was good, the price was exactly what was quoted even though he made a mistake and gave us a slightly more pricier unit, he did not charge extra. they were prompt on arriving and installing and when we had concerns about possible abnormal sounds, they came over promptly to inspect. The only complaints we had were that the wiring for the inside unit was not taped or wrapped properly so it looked shoddy, He wrapped them in tape when I complained. Also, there was a lot of debris that came out of the vents when they first started the system which the could of avoided by putting catch bags by the vents or at least sweeping up after the mess that was left on the floor and furniture. Aside from those complaints, they are very good

Normally one person comes out and he is very reliable. They come out twice a year to check our system. They are very good and I would not use anybody else. The representative is very competent and careful. They are affordable.

We have been using Frias for years, and have the same gentleman, the owner, come out every time. It is a small company, but so reliable. I would highly recommend this company.
