Fine Patio Design

I was extremely disappointed with the quality of work, especially in pool construction. Several coping stones came loose, which they blamed on ice, but properly installed coping should never have that issue. The rock feature also crumbled apart due to the wrong rock being used, and the spa's water containment failed due to improper construction. Despite attempts to contact Andrew and Walter, they were unresponsive, and Andrew never returned calls. Additionally, the patio roof, constructed by Fine Patio, leaked due to poor design, and their solution was merely a Band-Aid fix, with the expectation of payment from me. Overall, I caution against this company due to their lack of accountability and the poor quality of their work.

Terrible from start to finish; tried to persuade me that city permits/ inspection wasn’t needed. Unskilled workers, Very Poor workmanship on patio; patio is crooked due to bad measurements on the framing, not one straight line. The stamp on the concrete is also crooked. There were no oversight of the workers, nor the work being done. The business owner (son Andrew) only came out to pickup payments; when he came out for the final payment, he wasn’t even interested in seeing the final results of the project his company completed; he was only interested in getting a check. Very disappointed with this company; don’t believe the good reviews are all legit. I will not be recommending this company to anyone.

Extremely pleased !! Once the project was started, construction went quickly. Not a lot of destruction to the backyard, not a lot of mess. Any questions or concerns were answered quickly. After contacting several local companies, their price was the most reasonable.  Amazing job !! Wish I could post a picture of the final product. I would highly recommend them !!

Cover/structure the supervisor was slow, took his time, did not finish work when promised. Understaffed to complete work on time. End product good quality.

Overall nice job, pricey, did not clean up their work area after job completed. I had to move a whole pallet of stone since they never picked it up after promising they would. Owner and son came up with a good design

Walter and his team were great to work with. Extended existing patio with concrete slab, brick and natural stone wall, brick columns, and natural stone floor. Roof added to match existing roof and inside patio has beaded ceiling. Recessed lighting with ceiling fans installed.

From beginning to end the experience was terrific. Walter's designs were creative and leveraged the existing look of our home and pool, so while the patio is new, it looks like it was built when the house was built.
Walter was actively involved and touched base with me frequently throughout the project to let me know how things were going and what to expect over the coming days. All of his workers were professional, timely, and the quality that they each delivered was excellent.
I highly recommend Walter and his team. GREAT EXPERIENCE.

From the very beginning, Walter and his team were prompt, professional and upfront about costs and time of labor. They provided digital images of plan w/many options. The workship is beautiful and they were so kind through the whole process. Would use again in future!!

The extended patio with stamped concrete and wooden arbor were built first. The patio went great and was done very quickly; this is clearly Fine Patio's expertise. The arbor was built fairly quickly and looks good. There were a few minor issues with how the finishing on the base of the supports came out. But they promptly came back on site and fixed the finishing details. The storage unit was started a bit later and looks amazing. It is brick on 2 sides and next to the house on 2 sides. I had 3 serious issues/complaints and 2 of them were never fully corrected. 1) The concrete slab was poured with a little dip in it, so when it rains the water pools there.
2) There was a lot of excess mortar dropped on the ground from putting the brick up that was never cleaned up. This is more annoying than anything, because the grass doesn't grow here and concrete never naturally breaks down. 3) Water leaked into the unit during rainstorms. This one was fixed by putting silicone caulking around the door. Overall, I was happy with the service. They might seem a little more expensive than other comparable bids, but their craftsmanship is really good. I would recommend being more proactive about checking in on the cleanliness of the site before they leave.

Walter was very prompt in providing us an estimate. He shared ideas, picture portfolio of examples, and various options. Fine Patio Design's cost was over 50% lower than the nearest competitor. So we awarded them our business. They started work the following week and moved very quickly. Took a total of about 3 weeks to complete and it turned out beautiful. We are very pleased with the resulting kitchen. We did ask for custom lighting under the bar which they had never done before. Although the result wasn't the level of quality as the rest of the kitchen, Walter was not happy with the result and did not charge us for it. We would definitely recommend using them for a straight forward outdoor kitchen project. Great value for the money! I would caution against using them for anything too custom.

Everything exceeded our expectations! We love everything Walter did and are having him out again this week to do some additional work.

I had a stamped and stained concrete patio poured by another contractor and it turned out horrible. Claudia and Walter @ Fine Patio Design did a wonderful job giving me an unbiased analysis of the work and several repair options we could go with. Their crew did a wonderful job despite a few obstacles that were encountered along the way. Would highly recommend them.
