 + 0 moreWe found the quality of his crew's work to be very poor. The retaining was that was created was unstable and unsafe. The flagstone steps looked like they had been laid by a beginner mason. The stones were set in the concrete with wide gaps between stones and thin pieces of granite were overhanging the steps. The owner, Fermin, did not agree with our concerns. Within the first couple of weeks, pieces of granite broke off the edge of the steps. We ended up hiring another company to redo the retaining wall and to fix the broken flagstone on the steps.
Description of Work: We have a very sloped back yard. After doing some landscaping in one portion of the yard, we had a large pile of excess dirt and boulders. Fermin was asked to use this material to create a terraced area in the yard using the boulders as the retaining wall. Additionally, he agreed to create steps in the sloped yard by setting flagstone into cement bases.
