Exclusive Mobile Detailing

We found Exclusive Mobile Detailing through an offer with Living Social providing us with a 50% discount ($90 for a truck/minivan). When I was ready, I called the owner who stated they were booked over the next week and a half; and he instructed me on the phone how to go to his website to sign-up, and send information on the voucher number, etc. He would then contact me back to set up an appointment. Two weeks later, I still had not heard back from him. I called him again to which he responded promptly and stated he never got my e-mail through his website. So, we set up an appointment for the upcoming Saturday. He stated they would be there anywhere from 10-11 am.

On Saturday, we were home, the minivan was parked in the driveway, unlocked and ready to go. Our front door was open (you can see inside the home) and my husband and I were upstairs. I was on a conference call and apparently they came by the house and knocked on the door which of course we could not hear. They chose not to ring the doorbell. They did try to call but I was on a business call which could not be interrupted. Finally, I saw them call again and had to stop and ask my husband to call them back. To our surprise, they had come to the house (knocked and not rang the door bell) and then left. When my husband called them back, they stated they would charge us an extra $10 for coming back. I didn't feel this was fair since we were here, ready to go.

They did come back and said the owner would not budge on the $10. This greatly affected my customer experience with them. It took them 1 hour to detail the car. They used their products and machine and hooked up to our water supply. The two gentlemen were professional and did a very good job. I was surprised they were able to take out a number of bad carpet stains as the minivan is about 11 years old. Their quality of service was very good and this is why I would recommend them. The customer service from the owner was a B grade for me.
