The electrician was very prompt and courteous and did a good job addressing the issue with professional expertise. I would highly recommend him as a go-to source for any electrical service.

Contacted Excel Electric Company on a verbal recommendation from a personal friend. The job was to provide power to a detached garage. Initial appointment was made to review job and make recommendations for the electrical work.
Mr. Jorge Ramirez contacted me promptly to assess my electrical needs. My first reaction was simply get a quote and try another electrical service. I am thinking that I did not communicate my electrical needs as Mr. Ramirez quoted me a price on connecting electricity from the main board up to the garage only.
I spoke to him and expressed my concern that the job did not include the interior electrical wiring. Mr. Ramirez immediately stated that he had assumed that I wanted only  electrical connection to the detached garage.
Within the same day he provided a quote for the entire job, electrical wiring inside the detached garage and wiring from the main board to the detached garage.
The impressive thing about this whole job was his knowledge and candid opinions about by existing electrical main panel. He stated that due to the limited space in the panel, he would have to route the main electrical cable from the main panel to a dedicated panel for the detached garage. He suggested a trench be dug and power cables routed through PVC tubing to the detached garage. The job was begun on a cold and rainy day, this necessitated the start of the electrical wiring inside the detached garage. He proceeded to place the necessary wiring, electrical outlets and fixtures inside the garage. He suggested a high voltage connection for a future window heat pump and placed a dedicated line for the unit. I had an existing outside garage light which he also wire.  To my dismay I forgot a door entrance light that he connected a no additional cost.
Once the garage was  wired up he proceeded to complete the power run from the main circuit board to the dedicated circuit board on the rear wall of the house. He cut into the main circuit box and place metal tubing to protect the wires running to the dedicated circuit board. Later he and his helper dug the trench for the PVC tubing and ran the power cables to the detached garage.
He was affable, courteous, humorous and expressed great pride in being able to obtain his Master  Electrician certification thus allowing him to work on his own. His pride extended in treating the customer as an equal by providing solid, straight forward answers to any question asked. His motto expressed the understanding that if he did not know the answer to your question he knew where he could find the answer.
Needless to say, I have found my permanent electrician and high recommend Excel Electrical Company to anyone looking for a highly motivated and professional electrical service. In conversation with Mr. Ramirez, I found out that he is also certified to work on air conditioning systems. He has been contracted for another electrical projected involving exterior light for my attached garage and rear exterior lighting.

He is a very knowledgeable licensed electrician and goes above and beyond the customer's expectations. He is very reliable, honest and will perform the work exactly as directed. I will always use him for any future electrical issues I may have in my new home.

The work was done well and on time. He put pride in his work and even cleaned all the messes that he made before he left.

Mr Ramirez came on time both to give an estimate and to do the work, He spent the day here doing the work, made sure that it was done correctly and cleaned up before he left. He takes pride in doing a good job.

He is excellent in evaluating the electrical needs of a space and will assist the client in whatever electrical concerns the client may have. Jorge is very professional, courteous, punctual and works well with other trades. I cannot say enough about his company. He is very reliable.
