Richard was great and the crew were hardworking and great to work with. I am very pleased with Excalibur and am getting bids for other tasks around my property. Highly recommend.

Horrible to say the least. He is quick to take your money but gives you the run around. He always says he has a job around the corner from you and will be at your house but something always comes up. Getting him to complete the jobs is hard. His 2 workers left left over concrete on the side of my house and spread it around my crepe myrtle tree and left left over debris in the corner of my house. My driveway is cracking already but according to him its STRESS cracks which run from the top of our driveway to the middle. He said he would seal them up but he NEVER did. and the edges of drive way are cracked and he patched them up while we were not home and its cracking again. Dont trust him. He never gave us a receipt said he emailed it and promised to bring one by but never did. He makes a lot of empty promises.

Contractor was responsive and showed up on time for clearing of brush and preparing the area for the driveway. During construction his crew broke a sprinkler line, the sprinkler wiring, the wiring to my area lights, and destroyed three flower beds with construction debris. He refused to repair any of these issues and offered no discount. The agreement was for the driveway to be a minimum of 5" and the majority of the driveway was just over 2". Again he offered no discount and refused to comply with the agreement.

I had paid him $8,000 after the preparation and decided to hold back the final $5,000 until he could offer me a discount to make up for the damage and the savings he had from using half the concrete quoted in the agreement. He sued me for the final payment and won the suit. The judge decided that the contract could not be negotiated after it had begun but he did not take into account that Excalibur had breached the contract by not pouring the driveway to the minimum thickness agreed upon. I had never been sued and the contractor had obviously been through this numerous times so I did not stand a chance.

I paid Excalibur the remaining $5,000 the same week as ordered by the judge. This judgment is on my credit report as and has considerably lowered my credit rating. The contractor is supposed to file a release with the court stating that the debt is paid so this judgment remains on my credit report. He will no longer answer my calls or texts. DO NOT HIRE EXCALIBUR!!!

The people are nice. Their prices are good. They make time to get to you soon, and work you in even when they are busy.

Front driveway extension is acceptableSprinkler system in the backyard does not reach all areas in the backyard as discussed before the project. I still have to hand water areas that the sprinkler system won't reach.The sod installed in the front yard area is not a match to the existing grass They installed carpet burmuda grass instead of centipede bermuda grass that exists.Concrete patio in backyard has cracked, they came to look at it, said they would be back to repair it and never showed up again.Built the retaining wall and never installed the rebar which was promised (no refund of money).Concrete walk installed from patio to backyard gate instead of the stone walkway asked for. This walkway has cracked in three places and when the Excaliber came to look at it. They said they would be back to fix it and never showed up again.Yesterday the conduit for the sprinkler came apart at the shutoff valve. Luckilly it came apart after the valve and the water could be shutoff without shutting off to the house. I called Excalibur to see about a waranty or repair but hey didn't answer the phone as they have done so much in the past. Before the water leak in the sprinkler system I had text Excalibur and told them since they weren't going to show up, they didn't need to that I would get another contractor in to give me a quote on any further work to be done. I would not let this company work for me again even if theypromised the work would be free of charge.
