Everyday Construction

This company did shoddy work at best. I paid $2150 in cash and never got a receipt even though DJ said he would send it the day the job was completed. I tried several times and he ignored my request. He stopped responding. I doubt that he would have done this work to his home. You can see the caulking where part of the fascia was replaced and what appears to be only one coat of paint. As seniors living on a fixed social security income, $2150 was not easy for us to afford.

Project to begin on Monday December 4th

DJ was very professional, estimate was reasonable, finished in 2 days as promised, pergola and bench look beautiful and have gotten compliments from neighbors. I watched the entire build, very solid construction, used screws and brackets for strength. Then power washed patio deck when finished. Great job.

Unique flat roof project that the everyday roofing and construction team came in and knocked it out in a day and a half. Will definitely use them again!

The owner of the company came to see my house, gave me a quote and he noticed some structural decking issues where the roof was dipping prior to installation of the new roof. After going over everything with him and receiving the quote, we were supposed to have all of the dipping on the roof fixed with plywood as it states in the contract. After the roof was installed, I noticed that the dipping was not fixed and that was an additional $1500 charge after requesting that the company comes out to fix the issue I was ignored currently it has been two months and now they are refusing to fix the issue. The owner is also now refusing to honor the warranty so we will be proceeding with legal actions. He has been in touch since posting, I sent him proof of the dipping and he is claiming that he fixed all of that the first time he cam he was very dismissive and somewhat of an a-hole during communications. I am not asking for my money back I just ant it fixed

He was the first to call and the only one I would hire again! Came early, did the job WAY above my expectations and made it stress free! Literally within 24 hours I had a gorgeous fence. Would hire again!

He: answered my initial phone call during non-business hours, scheduled an inspection at a convenient time, showed up on time, looked at everything I had to show him and listened to my concerns, sent me an email with a detailed proposal that was far better than two other contractors had provided, scheduled the repair at my convenience, arrived promptly on the day of the repair, completed the repairs quickly, and accepted payment by check. He was always friendly and knowledgeable. Hire him!

I was really pleased with the fence repair. I received quotes from two other companies, and Steven was less than half the cost of the other two and very knowledgeable. He was very good with communicating via text, did the job quickly and on budget, and was very pleasant to work with. He replaced 5 posts to correct a seriously leaning fence, fixed areas where the fence was pulling away from other posts, repaired our gate, and ground down protruding nails from the original fence install. Definitely recommend!

It was not until they had started the job of tearing out damaged pieces of vinyl siding that DJ told me he could not find a match for the shape of my vinyl, so I did not feel like I had a choice but to settle for what he provided, which has a noticeably different profile. Had I known, I would have shopped around. When they power washed the vinyl, they stripped paint off my wooden trim and had to come back and repaint the worst parts. After I had paid, we noticed a hole in the vinyl that had not been fixed. DJ gave me a day and time to fix it but was a no-show. I texted him and he rescheduled, but was a no-show again and did not bother to return my texts inquiring when they would be here. That is 2 mornings I took off and stayed home waiting to no avail. After spending $1000.00 on the project, my wife and I are very disappointed and will try to find a more reliable contractor for future projects.

I was very pleased. They listened to my problem. They gave me good advice and not the typical canned answers. They did a thorough inspection, made recommendations. They accommodated everything I asked for. They were also polite and thoughtful in our interactions. Definitely I would hire them again
