This was the second job with this group. Ruben and his crew are very responsive to the customer's needs. They started by chipping out the old ceramic tile. That was a chore. Roger, the laborer assigned to do that, worked steadily with hammer and chisel but was unable to complete the work by hand the first day due to hard mortar underneath the tile. The second day he brought a power chipper which improved the progress rate. At the end of day 2 the tile was all gone but there was still some hard mortar left to be removed. On the third day, Eric, the tile man, spent about 3 hours chipping off the rest of the mortar. Then he and his helper Luis laid the tile. Fourth visit was spent grouting the tile and cleaning up. Fifth day workers returned to paint and install quarter-round trim on baseboards. As clean-up was in process we noticed some paint chipping on the cabinets, caused by the tile removal process. Two more visits on successive days were necessary to make minor repairs and repaint the cabinet doors.
The finished tile job is superb. The overall appearance of the kitchen is wonderful. We are very pleased with the work. Just wish the cabinet repairs hadn't been necessary.
To their credit, Ruben, Lenny and the crew worked hard to make sure the customer was completely satisfied at the end of the job. These guys are trying to grow their business and I would certainly use them again.

Ruben's crew showed up promptly and worked efficiently removing all of the old landscape materials the first day. On the second day they installed the landscape fabric and laid and re-leveled all of the pavers. On the third day they completed the work. The finished job is a night and day change from the previous situation. Ruben's people are careful and pay close attention to detail. For this reason they are not the fastest crew in the world but the finished product is something you can be proud of.
