Eden Lawn & Landscape LLC

We've been using Mike and Eden for about 3 years between two houses. We have a monthly maintenance plan that costs around $135/month for two mows a month. They guys are quick and professional and we have developed a high degree of comfort with them and let them help themselves into the backyard to take care of the yard.
Highly recommend.

It was a very bad experience that I would not recommend to others.

In a word: TERRIBLE. Owner, Mike Eissler, and his daughter, Katherine, have a difficult time being honest with their customers. All of the work they performed for us was sub-standard and overpriced. With respect to the leveling and sodding of yard, Eden did not bother to do any leveling prior to installation of the sod, nor did Eden bother to kill all of the weeds in our yard prior to laying sod over the ground. After the sod was laid, there were significant, large, gaps in the yard and unevenness. Also, Eden laid sod over tools, trash, sprinkler heads, and even placed large swaths of sod on top of large boulders and rocks where it knew the sod would die. When I pointed these deficiencies to Eden, Mike Eissler admitted the mistakes and then promised to correct them under the warranty. When the one year mark arrived, Mike expressly refused to honor his warranty and multiple promises to me over the past year that he would correct the dangerous, unsightly, and uneven conditions of my yard. I have now had to hire an attorney to pursue Eden for their fraudulent acts and omissions. With respect to our plant beds, Katherine sold us the same design plans that she uses for other properties -- nothing really custom and special about that. Then, Katherine sold several overpriced plants/trees and materials and excessive amounts of delivery. Like the sod installation, Eden skipped whole sections of laying weed barrier in our plant beds, and then, tried to cover over those areas with mulch so we would never know. I'm talking about skipping hundreds of square feet in the installation -- and then billed us for the work. Eden was also failed to kill any of the weeds prior to installation of the plant beds, and it covered over and broke several of our sprinkler heads. Finally, Eden designed an underground drain to traverse my driveway and one of the plant beds -- the drain does not work as designed or promised, and Eden refuses to repair or replace it. In fact, I received several bills that included work that was never performed and charges for other things that were "incorrectly" calculated and should never been included on my bill (e.g. charging tax on top of tax, and charging it at a higher than permitted rate). In sum, if you are looking for a landscape company that is dishonest, incompetent, charges excessive money for their "work product", treats you horribly, doesn't perform what it promises, and has no intention of honoring its warranty -- then Eden Lawn & Landscaping, LLC is, in my opinion will be a great match for your needs.

They gave a competitive price, kept me posted on start date. When time to start project, designer walked through entire project making adjustments based on my questions or concerns. The completed the entire project in three days and it is beautiful. Then one of the owners came by two days after to make sure I was happy and nothing needed to be addressed. He made some adjustments to sprinklers and went on his way. I was very pleased with everyone on this project and would highly recommend them.

They designed the yard & suggested layout of grass, patios, walkway & plantings. They were sensitive to my water conservation requests. Mike (the owner) arrived with the crew the first day & had a manager check in daily after that. They were both open for questions, always kept me informed of progress. Mike susequently has checked on the yard to make sure the grass is taking. They followed up quickly & are professional & knowledgeable.
