Last evening we found standing water at one corner of our home.   This was Friday night.  I turned off the main value to the house.   Edd Leigh had provided service for us in the past for renovation of our home, plus installed appliances and tank-less water heaters.
I sent Edd an email at 10 PM last night.  He called me at 7:30 AM this morning and had a crew onsite by 9:00 AM.   It took a lot of digging to find the leak which was deep and just a foot out from where the main line enters the foundation.  But find it they did and repaired it, taking plenty of time to make sure it was dried and sealed.  It was a broken large coupling from when the house was built in 1996.
Total job was about three hours and worth every penny given it was a Saturday morning.
Edd's crews are polite and professional and explain what they are doing.   His team members are all uniformed.

In May we purchased a 3,100 square foot home in in near northest San Antonio. Although the home was built in 1996 it required extensive upgrading to meet our needs for a retirement home. This including complete renovation of the kitchen and bathrooms.
It was very important to us that we install high quality, low maintenance, efficient and fast heating and quot;tanklessand quot; on-demand water heaters. We have had great success with this feature in previous homes and wanted this feature in our retirement home. NOTE Many plumbers claim they can install these systems but it requires experienced professionals to do so. NOTE: When installing a tankless water heater the manufacturers require either a water softener or a device that put the mineral particulates in suspension. We chose particulate suspension device. (Edd can do either one).
Edd is very knowledgeable in this area and personally supervised the crews for this part of the installation.
We also completely renovated the kitchen, with total removal of the existing kitchen. Edd's team put every thing in that was new. This required moving gas lines, water lines, iced maker lines, etc.
Everything was completed on time and on budget. The crews are all uniformed, polite and professional. They are always punctual. Edd, the owner, is always immediately responsive by email or phone.
Every large job requires a call back or two, especially when there are other contractors involved. This is where a lot of contractors fail, but that was not the case with Edd Leigh. There were some adjustments that needed to be made and there was a manufacturing problem with one of the Moen faucets. Edd was very responsive in coming to make the adjustemnts.
One of the advantages of the water heater system that we installed is that for safety reasons the maximum temperature can be set very precisely. It may need to be higher depending on the distance from the unit to the outlet. Edd made those adjustments at no charge.
We have used other plumbers in the past but none this professional. Edd has a secret weapon in his son, Ryan. Not only is Ryan an experienced professional, he is just delightful to be around. He is always smiling, friendly and explains everything he is doing and why.
This is a great family firm you can trust.

It took a while to dig out the pipe and it was by hot outside. It turned out that he was exactly right about the problem and was very knowledgeable about the plumbing in our 45 year old house. It took a few days long than expected to repair it but it came in right as he had budgeted and the repair was done and I had my sink back. His employees are very respectful and polite and he came by every day to check on the progress of the job.

We have used them for over 10 years. They usually come the same day and also do some general contracting work. We have always been very pleased.
