Unfortunately I am sorry to say that after years of using this company we have had to leave and find another. Up until this year they were fair and reasonable. Our most recent project we were told would include rerouting our main sprinkler line and was cost prohibitive so we were advised by Dickinson to go a different route that would not mean moving anything. We did what they advised and were charged for a service call. Once our deck project was completed we called them back out to change our sprinkler heads and finish the project. They came out and changed 2 of the 5 heads, charged us another service fee, then said they would return later. On the 3rd visit, they changed out the other 3 heads, charged us yet another call and the project was finally completed. We were told that we would receive an invoice with total prices on it. When I paid, the total was over $120 more than invoiced. I called the owner because I thought maybe there had been a double billing Mistake and he told me “no” that was the price and I should be content because it was less than rerouting my entire main line. The job should have been charging one consult and one visit. The fact that the serviceman decided to break it up into 2 visits is unprofessional and should not charge an extra $120 visit fee. No lines were dug or moved, one was shortened by 12” with a head change, 4 other heads were changed. Charging over $530 for less than 2 hours worth of work and a few heads is unrealistic. I do not recommend using this company anymore since their methods and customer care has taken such a change.

Crew was very professional and knowledgeable. Our main sprinkler line had sprung a leak and we called Dickinson as we had used them previously and knew they did great work. The line had to be diverted around our Bradford pear tree as it was due to the growth of the tree, the roots specifically, that resulted in the line being crushed. The job went very quickly and when they were done it was hard to tell the area had ever been dug up.

Quickly received call from company to schedule survey and repair action(s). Scheduled service for 2 days after initial call. Steve, I think that was his name, called me when he was 30 minutes. He arrived on time. He easily and quickly repaired the broken bubblers. The second action was not made at that time to better ascertain the qty and coverage would suffice under warmer conditions. Additionally, he was courteous and answered any question I had regarding my sprinkler system and the repair performed (such as: how long do I have to wait before I can use it?).

Great service. Larry came to my house on short notice to fix a leaking backflow preventer. He even rearranged his schedule to accommodate mine. Repairs were thorough, prompt and at a fair price.

found all my leaks and expanded the system as I needed. joe set up a great drip system for my vegetable garden too!

I called at 9am. Mr. Dickinson said he had just had a cancellation and Steve would be over soon. Steve called at 9:30 to report he was on the way. Arrived at 9:45. He ran tests on the valve and discovered the handle had been used to turn off the station. Turned it on and that was it. I never turned it off, so it must have been vandalism - the box is right in the middle of our narrow back yard and is visible. Great service rendered promptly and professionally.

We have them out every year for our sprinkler system. We always ask for Jason to be the one they send out. He knows our yard well. Dickinson Sprinkler & Lawn Seeding Inc is always very accommodating. They are willing to bend over backwards for you. They will help you set your timer if you need help. They go above and beyond.

It went really well.  I called on Tuesday for an appointment, they were here on Wednesday and it took about an hour to get everything done.  They were very knowledgable and went right to work when they arrived.  Everything was nicely cleaned after they finished. 

Perfectly! Best company so far as far as response and price.

Always does a great job at a fair price.  Best place in the area to get your backflow prevention test as well.

Very pleased with the promptness of response, quality and profesionalism of service.

This is our second year to be fortunate enough to have Dickinson take care of our sprinkler system.  That says it all!

Went well but turned out the sensor wasn't working....they came back out and replaced the defective part.
 Good service and professional.

Have used this company previously and they always do tremendous work.  They know what they're doing and in addition, are
quick, proficient and professional.   Have been very pleased with their almost immediate response as well as their approach to any problem, fix or install.  There's never any "monkeying" around and their price generally seems fair and reasonable.  Will definitely use them again and again.  Do yourself a favor and call them!!

It went outstanding! These guys are pros. They went after the zone control junction issue first and determined that the controller was loose. Tightened it up and no more leaking into the box. They also thoroughly checked each zone and each sprinkler, in some cases replacing sprinkler heads, digging out and straightening sprinklers, and extending the sprinkler bodies to better rise above the ground for better coverage. Showed us their work by zone when they were finished and addressed a few concerns we discovered during the run through. Awesome work! This is the second time we've used Dickinson and we'll use them again.

Work was done on time in a professional manner.

I was very satisfied with his service.  Probably they were very professional and they listened to you.  When they came the last time I wanted to have some changes made in the line so that I could do the grass separate from the flower beds.  So they made all the changes and in fact they made a couple more changes that made it even better.  They do a good job.

Larry was very accommodating and the service was provided on time and as promised.  The technician gave very detailed and easy to understand instructions and 3 weeks later I have a beautiful lawn.

He was so helpful and explained why the backyard wasn't being water. Jason is polite and down to earth. He doesn't over-charge and I would highly recommend them. They are on-time, honest and communicative.

fantastic! The day after spraying the weather turned into flash floods and I was concerned everything washed away. After contacting Larry I was immediately relieved by his optimism and explanation that the seed sinks to the ground. He told me to give it a week and if needed they would retreat any necessary areas. No retreating needed!

It was excellent.  I was pleased with technician and happy with the results.
