Monica on the sales team was wonderful about quickly and thoroughly answering all our questions throughout the process. We were kept informed all along the way what the next steps were, how long that would take and what was needed from us. The field measurement team and installation team were prompt and efficient. They were there at the house within 15 minutes of the time they said they would be and had even let us know beforehand that they were running a few minutes late. I was asked to inspect everything before the install team left and was pleasantly surprised to find each room they worked in cleaner than what it had been prior to them arriving. Everything is gorgeous and I will definitely be using Delta Granite for any projects in the future.
"The Marble Institute of America, of which we are members, recommends that existing countertops be removed before templating, to ensure the most accurate measurements are taken. Many times existing counters will be covering up existing issues that will affect the accuracy of the measurements, such as 1) walls behind the counters being bowed in or out, 2) walls being out of square, or 3) cabinets that are not level, or that are not in good structural condition to support weight. All of these things can be discovered once the existing countertops are removed. At that time a good, thoughtful plan can go into how to resolve those potential issues, then the measuring can be done. Delta specifically excludes demo of existing counters because many times, other issues need to be addressed such as disconnection of water lines and removal or relocation of electrical outlets. These services are best done by a contractor who is insured, and licensed for that type of work. Our liability insurance does not cover plumbing work or electrical work that we would provide. If a countertop fabricator is offering that work as part of their service, be sure and ask them if they are licensed for that type of work and those are specifically covered under their liability insurance. We are only looking out for the customer's best long-term interests in recommending that type of work be done by qualified persons. In regards to schedule, our turnaround times are typically about 5-7 working days from the time that we do our field measurements. Most of our customers are able to work within that time frame. We are sorry that we could not meet the scheduling requirements of this client. In some instances, we can measure for new countertops with the existing counters in place if we are confident that we can get accurate measurements, however, that decision is made on a case by case basis."
"We appreciate the kind remarks that the member's have made. We strive to make sure all of our clients receive excellent service. We view ourselves as a service company that happens to be in the stone fabrication business. Thanks Again, Larry Wallace Sales and Marketing Manager"
