We feel very lucky to have found David to paint our historic home. David is very skilled at repairing cracks and defects in sheet rock. The areas he repaired look perfect. He is very precise when it comes to details such as proper paints, matching, and repairs. He is equally great when it comes to exterior work. He is also very fair with pricing and shows up as scheduled. He does not rush the job and does not ask to be paid until the job is done. We will definitely be calling David for any future work that needs to be done.

David is an outstanding painter and runs his business professionally, but with concern and excellent communication. He contacted me the first day (evening actually) I posted the job and scheduled an appointment to see the job the next day. We discussed all aspects of the job. I received his bid the very next day and it was very thorough and reasonable so I hired him. He completed the painting and some construction as perfectly as I wanted it performed. He is trustworthy, extremely organized and communicated any concerns and questions with me appropriately. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a person with integrity and pride in his work. I will definitely engage his services again in the future if needed.

He was scheduled out for a few days but met our agreed upon timeline. I appreciated he was flexible on who bought supplies. I had him purchase to make it easiest for me. He's very meticulous; he's timely, and you know he listens to feedback, interior painting included. wallpaper kind of reboot removal mitigation as well as a repair of a sheet rock, and it included painting the master bedroom, the office, two bathrooms, and a hallway. and as you know, he's just excellent. And we definitely would use him again. Definitely!

We had plumbers come out to cut out an 8 ft x 3 inch sewer pipe in our half bath. And to locate the pipe, they had to cut a 6 inch x 6 inch of popcorn ceiling (Hey! We like our popcorn ceiling). Then they had to cut the drywall, which has orange peel texture and replaced the pipe. Upon finishing, we contacted two contractors early last week and David was the only one to respond within the hour. We still haven’t heard from the other contractor. David also came to our house on the same day to give us a quote and the quote reasonable. As promised, he arrived early Saturday morning to repair/replace the drywall. He took his time and was meticulous. He sanded, textured (orange peel), painted, then replaced the popcorn ceiling. Wow! You cannot tell where the new drywall or new popcorn ceiling ends or begins. Thank you David for such an excellent job. We will use David’s Texas Painting & Construction for any future home projects. We highly recommend him.

Due to cold, windy, and rainy February, David had to make several trips to get the job done. Always with a positive attitude. He couldn’t spray the paint due to the weather, so he used paint brushes and rollers. He repaired areas with wood-rot damage (my house is only five years old). The quality surpassed my high expectations! He kept the work area clean too. I would call on him for any construction or painting jobs!!

Dave and his team are always my go to people whenever it comes to painting my rental houses. I have a number of them and I will always call him in to do a whole house interior paint job. If I ever needed my exterior house painted I would probably call him as well. He came in and painted my entire house and did a wonderful job patching up all the holes and dings that previous tenants had left and made it look good as new. I often times have trouble locating the holes because the wall looks like a new wall altogether :-) I am always very pleased whenever he comes through to help me with any of my rentals. Always call Dave, you will never regret it.

I could not have had a better experience with Dave and his painter Mike. My garage walls and ceiling look better than the interior of my house. The shelves are just what I needed and if I downsize enough 'stuff' as I bring things back in, I should be able to get both cars in the garage now. I am very happy!

They also melted a wall mural that would turned up to be more complicated than I expected. They were excellent. They were on time. They were prompt and professional.
