They were slow in preparing the house for showing. It took a few weeks to get a contractor out there to clean, service the house. Two months later they finally got in a tenant at a much lower rate than I think is market value. When I did the initial inspection with Laurie, I showed her where the tree is close to the house and notified her that it would need to be trimmed regularly to prevent damage to the roof. Ten months later I was in town and drove by to check on the house. The tenant showed me the tree that had overgrown and damaged the roof. The tenant stated it was on their initial walk thru and that they had notified Laurie of the need to trim the tree. The tenant also stated that it would often take 2-3 phone calls to get in touch with the Century 21 property management office when she needed something, as they would not return her calls. When confronted, Mr Davalos did have the roof repaired at his company's expense. They did not notify the tenant of the scheduled service to the house. Other situations, I called Laurie a few times and told here that I was getting letters from the home owner's association about the yard. Laurie said she would take care of it. Then i got a letter from the home owner's association threatening legal action. I again called Laurie and she said she would take care of it. I called later and she had not. I called the tenant and she said Laurie never called her about the yard. I do not trust Laurie and will not do business with Mr Davalos/Century 21 property managers again.
