DARRELL BLACK SHEET METAL ROOF

Within the first week of occupancy rain penetrated into several areas of the house. The builder and roofer were notified and Darrell Black sent repairmen to make "repairs". They used caulk on metal and failed to admit that the roof had not been flashed correctly. We had to hire roof engineering consultants to evaluate the roof, found flashing and roof design problems all around the house, and Darrell Black did not replace the roof, did not offer to repair significant interior damages and failed to offer any support . Darrell Black and the builder took no action and stalled us until the warranty ran out. We had to bring a law suit to get help, and prove the defects caused by Darrell Black. We are now having the roof removed and replaced with proper flashing and water proof membrane, replacing that which Darrell Black Roofing defectively installed. My experience is that Darrell Black Roofing could not have been less professional. Our experience was simply terrible and terribly expensive.
