COX TILE

I contacted Cox Tile on a referral from a tile vendor, who said she would personally use Cox Tile for any tile job in her home. I checked out the web site, and it appears that Cox Tile is a very reputable vendor. I wanted a quote to renovate my front powder room by tiling the walls, as well as adding some trim to a master bath with some tile already in place. I spoke to John Cox personally and scheduled a visit. He called to reschedule, but he did come to the house promptly on the rescheduled date. I described to him how I would like to renovate the front powder room using tile, and he took the needed measurements. I even provided him with the product information for the tile, since we wanted to use the same tile used elsewhere in the house. He left, and promised to contact me promptly with an estimate. I called a couple of days later on a Friday, and spoke with John Cox personally. He said that things were very hectic, but that he would do the estimate over the weekend, and call me back. I waited until Tuesday, and called back, but had to leave a message for John to call me back. I tried over the next couple of weeks to reach John Cox at his business, but had to leave a message each time. I never heard back from Mr. Cox, and so I gave up. I was left feeling that my job was probably too small to be bothered with. It was a very disappointing experience for me, but if you can actually get him to do an estimate, the work is probably very good. I will never know.
