Excellent and very comprehensive.

The agent was trying to collect twice. That was a problem. You have to verify with the company to make sure the individual that comes out is performing according to company policy.

They were here to replace the unit last month because we have four units, four heat pumps.  We had one that was an original from 24 years ago.  It came with the house and they were surprised that it lasted that long.  I still have one left that is working and is one of the originals.

They also gave me the information and the documentation to get read. They also replaced two heat pumps prior to this one. They were honest and they did what they said they would do and anytime I needed them just to check something because I didn't feel like it was cool as well as I thought it would they got to me so quick because it's 95 degrees already here and so in family room the unit the supplies the supplies the family room I normally have it set on 69 degrees during the day and 68 degrees at night. If my husband did complain it would be at 65 degrees or lower and so it uses the coolant faster than normally it would and so when I call them they get here as fast as they can. I've never had to wait what I would consider an unusual amount of time to take care of anything that I've asked them to do. Usually when I ask them questions they answer them right away and because I got to the internet and I do a lot of research and a lot of reading they give you a lot of information and I ask them the same thing that I got information from. And if the information is the same as the information I got from other people then I know they're doing their job. They always make sure that they have shoe covers on and sometimes I just tell them you don't have to put on shoe covers because I have granite flooring. But they always put paper down or something especially if it's wet outside and they never have a problem with it.

We have been frustrated in getting honest service for our heater/air conditioner. Used to use one of the "big box" HVAC companies in San Antonio. Quit using them after they told us our system was going to "die" over 6 years ago. We then used an individual who
was competent but failed to show up for an appointment. We last used a special on Angie's List a couple of years ago. That proved to be a scam to tell you that you needed a new system when you didn't.  We learned about Cool Concepts by word of mouth.
Their technician, Albert, showed up on time and performed services. He is the first individual we've talked to in several years who was knowledgeable and thorough. Good work for a reasonable price!

We initially contacted Cool Concepts after getting estimates from the 2 largest HVAC companies in San Antonio.  We were referred to them, and specifically the owner, Joe Goff, from a coworker.  He came out the same day, and reviewed our situation (we had a broken A/C compressor pump).  He gave us options of repairing the unit, replacing just the A/C, and complete HVAC replacement.  We decided on replacing the entire HVAC system, since it was 12 years old and had R22 refrigerant, which is being replaced by R410, due to government regulations.

They showed up early on the day of installation, worked throughout the day in extremely high temperatures (outside and inside), and completed the job on time.  They were also 40% lower on cost than the other 2 "big name" company estimates that we received.  All equipment installed was high quality American Standard equipment. 

I was extremely pleased with the time that Joe spent on the phone with me discussing options and efficiency ratings.  All his technicians (Albert, Ray, Mario and Juan) were extremely cordial and professional during the entire process.  I would highly recommend Cool Concepts and look forward to many years of service work, if needed.
