Cool Components sent out a young man named Denys.  His youth presented internal questions as to whether he was up to the task to fix my problem.  He quickly dispelled any questions I had of him. He questioned me of my problem and he listened attentively.  He began troubleshooting.  I always stick close to anyone who comes to do work for me because I like to learn from what people do.  As he worked he continued to ask questions relating to time of day the problem occurred,  the duration of the problem, what I had done in the interim of call placement and his arrival.  I basically just cleaned out the ac drain line and replaced the ac filter to weed out these problem areas before the repairman came out.  He determined the my freon level was low but the line pressure was high.  For him that pointed to a possible condensing coil problem.  He asked how often I change my filter and I told him every month and a half.  He got access to the condensing coil and quickly showed it to me.  It looked like an ICE BOX in there.  He told me low freon levels cause this type of problem.  He said he could check for leaks but had to wait till the condenser coils thawed out completely and he could not finish this work till tomorrow.  As the frozen ac line at the compressor thawed, the freon level jumped pretty much even with the line pressure.  He asked when my units were installed.  I told him late September of last year.  He convinced me that for the night, I could use my AC and that it would keep us cool for the night and he left.  Sure enough when I turned on the AC later in the evening, the house actually cooled and we got a good night's sleep.
The following morning Denys arrived and I informed him that the AC system had cooled the house as he claimed it would.  He checked the freon level and line pressure again and they were both low.  He said that after discussing my problem with his peers, my problem was attributed to not proper balancing the install freon levels for the time of the season.  Freon levels must be properly adjusted for the time of year because freon levels are affected by seasonal temperatures.  He added freon and checked and rechecked for stable pressure levels.  He concluded that an improper level of freon had occurred at the time of unit install.  He put everything back together outside and inside at the furnace and ask me to sign the invoice.  The invoice was zero.  I asked where's the charge.  He said the problem was attributed to Cool Component installation and there was no charge.  I felt so grateful.
I thank Denys for doing such a great troubleshooting job at my house.  His methodical approach to my problem was one of men many years his senior.  I thank Cool Component Htg and A/C for doing such an excellent job of picking people of character and training them so well for field work.  I'd recommend Cool Component to anyone over any other service provider in the field.

The complete components install of a/c, heater, evaporator coil, new flu work, tubing, wiring and flue replacement was accomplished in one day.  From the outset everything worked better than expected.  The house cooled much faster (I installed a SEER 16 3 ton a/c unit) than before.  My wife was happy and if she's happy, I'm happy.  The city inspector gave us a PASS after fixing a minor air leak on the backside of the furnace.  This certification process was outstanding; the inspector found the leak one day, the discrepancy was fixed the next day, and I received a pass the next.  Outstanding problem turn-around!   I found the workmanship and responsiveness of Cool Component very exhilarating.  The work, headed by Mr. Jose Valdez, was done expertly and thoroughly.  Mr.  Valdez stayed in touch regularly to make sure I was happy with the work and performance of my installed unit.  I am quite satisfied that we selected and went with Cool Component Heating and A/C, Inc. and recommend them to anyone that needs any kind of heating or a/c work.;
