Concrete Pros LLC

We interviewed several contractors. Lou is a very polite person. He wanted to do what we wanted. He was not here for the major work. His men ran into the tree and scarred it. He painted the scar with some protective paint. He replaced sprinkler heads that broke up when they removed he existing concrete. However, they caused a large crack by piling the broken up concrete on top of it in another section of the driveway. To correct that they just filled it with some grey filler. Looks bad. The concrete seems to be strong. However, either side of the seam on the drive way and the sidewalk has unsightly concrete where it should have been smoothed. Looks really bad. When we brought that to Lou's attention, he and a worker worked on it for about an hour, and then we paid him and they left. Though his ad says guarantee on best quality, we feel the finished job is not neat, but sloppy. We really are displeased with the look of the sidewalk section leading to our front door. We hired him thinking he would make sure the work was neat, but he failed in that respect. And then, after we pointed it out to him, he really did not fix the problem. We should not have paid him until he made it look good, but that is our mistake.
