CASE HANDYMAN & REMODELING

Overall, it was a decent experience, as it was our first major remodel. We learned a LOT, particularly when it comes to specifying exactly what needs to be done, down to what size light bulbs, what hardware, and what nail goes where. We did end up with some electrical switches in weird places (their electrical subcontractor could be better), like the garbage disposal switch was a foot away from the sink, and the switch for the light above the sink was at least two feet from the sink, and about six inches from the stove. As mentioned, they did have to redo the texture on the walls THREE times, but they did do it until they got it right, which I greatly appreciated. I also appreciated that they set up a temporary kitchen for as long as possible, so that we still had a sink, stove, and refrigerator. Considering this was a four month long job, that was a tremendous help.

We did get our own job site manager, Ronnie, and were able to contact him every single day with any issues. He responded to every issue in a timely manner. Jeff, the salesperson, was great, and checked in on a regular basis to make sure everything was going right.

We recently moved, and I intend to use them to remodel this kitchen and bathroom, however I will be VERY specific when it comes down to writing the initial contract. I can definitely say that I got TONS of compliments on how beautiful our kitchen was, and when we sold the house, the kitchen was a HUGE selling point. So I would say they did a fantastic job.

I called to make an appointment, left my message and received a return call the same day. My appt. was two days later. Handyman was to be here at 9AM, and arrived exactly at 9AM. Did the above work to my satisfaction and did it all in less than an hour. Worker was professional and pleasant. Very pleased.

It was amazing. You wouldn?t even know there was a hole in the ceiling. They were punctual and professional.

The gentleman who repaired the woodwork and hung the fan was very prompt and very knowledgeable. The ceiling fan did not come with directions but because he specializes in electrical work he was able to assemble and hang on our patio with little difficulty. Additionally he is a wood worker so he did a great job repairing all the water damage around our bay window by replacing and refitting new wood and painting it. However since he does not specialize in drywall, Mark sent over another gentleman who took care of the work beautifully. All we have to do is paint and it's not even noticeable that there was any damage to begin with. These guys are great!

Generally, the work went well. The deck man was very experienced. I selected an artificial material that should last longer than wood. The deck looks great.

The handyman was actually quicker than estimated.
