Careful Movers

Was referred to Careful Movers by the Assisted Living facility. I called to get info. Very professional and easy to schedule. All inclusive price for 2hours. Additional fee for more time was disclosed but I did not need it so don't remember what it was. George and Dominick arrived a few minutes before scheduled time and got right to work. Wrapped and padded everything and took real care with everything as they loaded. When we arrived had to wait a few minutes before we could get into the room. They just brought everything to the door and waited. Then had to pick up and move everything inside and set it up. Done professional and efficiently. Easy for me. Definitely keeping their contact info to use this company again.

The three-man crew arrived on time on moving day. Loaded the furniture, boxes I had packed and washer and dryer. They were very careful in moving some of my mother's antique pieces (crystal, lamps and furniture). Unpacked everything very quickly, some pieces were heavy, but they managed them easily.

I had them store several boxes in the garage. Several months later, I had another crew come out and move some heavier boxes in the garage to one side, to get my car in.

Both crews were professional, polite and conscientious. I would use them again.

The 3 man team of Jeremy, Adam, and Darius were fantastic! They were very professional, worked hard, and were very polite. The first stop of the morning was at the storage unit where mom had some household items. The crew emptied the unit and loaded it into the truck and we were on our way in 20 minutes.

Our next stop was at my mother's house. The crew loaded onto the truck more items going into storage first and the heavy furniture going to the new apartment went in last. Again the men worked quickly and efficiently but took the time to talk with my mother while she and quot;supervisedand quot; how they packed her things. I was impressed by the way they spoke with my mother, always addressing her politely and respectfully. I had asked for them to include 6 of their packing crates but Jeremy had the forethought to bring 10....and that's exactly what we needed!! He knows his job and does it well. Again the job was done in a timely manner because the men worked well together and they never stopped until everything was loaded into the truck.

We moved onto the new apartment complex where the crew set up the truck and ramp and got to work immediately. The furniture was set up first and they even connected my mother's television and cable. Then came all the boxes, crates and odds and ends. It's a small apartment but the men unloaded their crates and put things away in an orderly manner. The only things left for us to do was unpack mom's personal things and make her bed. They even hung up her clothes in the closet. Needless to say, by the end of the day mom was so pleased she told them she wanted to adopt all three of them!!

Our final stop was at the new storage unit and the crew once again set up quickly and efficiently. Before we realized it the last of the furniture and boxes was unloaded and placed in the room. We were done!

The move took the better part of the day but we were pleased with the work performed by the crew. Nothing was broken, there was no damage, either to mom's belongings or walls or floors. Everything was left in an orderly manner and the most important person to please was my 86 year-old mother, and she was!! I highly recommend Careful Movers not only for being careful with our belongings but also for the care they showed my mother.

Careful Movers was wonderful to work with. Dave came to our house to give us an estimate of how much time it would take to move everything. He suggested 4 guys which worked out perfectly for the amount of furniture and boxes we had. The movers showed up on time. They were eager to work and worked well with each other. They worked from 9 until 4:30 without even taking a break. They were all courteous and professional. They took very good care of our furniture and were very careful not to damage any walls or floors as well. We thought they were reasonably priced. They did not add on other charges like mileage to and from their location.

We still need to move some furniture out of a storage unit and plan on using Careful Movers again.
