Mike was fantastic from beginning to end. Professional, prompt, responsive, communicative. The best contractor I have ever worked with. We have already had him back to do another job!

I hired Michael from CanTex Developers LLC initially to replace my baseboards throughout my home. Michael called me within 20 minutes of my posting on a Friday night via Home Advisors. We agreed on a meeting at my house to assess the project and also to get to know each other. Michael was polite and courteous. He listened to my concerns. Michael measured and bought the baseboards. He painted them prior to installation which I highly recommend! He completed this project in a couple of days. Being very happy with his work I hired him to remodel my attic room directly above my garage. The attic remodels included red oak stairs and handrails. I purchased Windsor One beadboard and tongue and groove from Allen and Allen in San Antonio and had it delivered. I also purchased the newels and posts for the banister from A&A. I bought the paint from Sherman Williams in Boerne. Michael is a true craftsman with an attention to detail. I was impressed by him because he always had a level nearby and used it continuously. He uses professional tools, i.e., DeWalt, Makita, Diablo, Kreg, and more. The best attribute I enjoyed about Michael was his candor and honesty. I had to leave the state for a month and I left him alone in my home to continue to work on the project. Needless to say, he did not move or touch anything that was outside of the work area. Michael was quick to make suggestions but also was patient in listening to what I wanted. He encouraged me to make the paint selection because he said his tastes might be different from mine. After he painted the walls/ceiling and showed some pictures to family members who commended me on my paint selection. The biggest challenge for Michael was the installation of two 1930 wood doors that were a little out of plumb. Michael enjoyed the challenge and build the casings from scratch. Old hinges were used on one door and new doorknobs installed on both. They both close correctly and I am enjoying seeing the doors hung again. I will be hiring Michael and CanTex Developers for my next project in 2021 unless someone else hires him before me (Then I will just wait until he is available). Trust me you will not be disappointed.
