This review is long overdue, but I'm old & not experienced at this. Last May we experienced damage to our roof & water damage to our interior because of a major wind & rain storm. The crews from CANCO responded quickly as soon as they were contacted. They always showed up when expected & were helpful in explaining the details of the repair process. A Huge Thank You to Kenny Barrett, plus Matthew, Joe & Jesse who were our main contacts through each phase of the repairs to the entire roof & interior ceilings & walls & exterior siding & window replacement. Each man kept us informed & they were easy to contact. They were extremely organized & insured their work crews did the job in a timely manor. They cleaned up the work site each day & did an overall beautiful job. It was a stressful time & they made it easier to deal with by showing us respect and concern for our needs. They were good at explaining the steps necessary to get the job done efficiently & within our financial budget.

On February 2nd we had a freeze all across Connecticut, our pipes bursted in 6 different places. I called every restoration company in 3 different states, and nobody had any openings for at least a month. Everyone was so overbooked because of the freeze. I remembered a company I've heard about, in San Antonio TX called canco restoration. I called and spoke to a man named Kenneth Barrett and asked if he would be able to help me. He told me he was more than willing to help us out! I called my insurance company USAA and got the go ahead for Canco to come out. The next day Kenneth, and his estimator flew out here to Connecticut. We got the estimation done, and that Saturday his whole team drove from san antonio TX to Connecticut. They were here for approximately 5 days, they worked fast and efficiently! The team did an incredible job with the water restoration and drying everything out. I couldn't of asked for a better company! CANCO is the best water restoration out here, hands down! The build back was incredible as well! My husband and I were able to be kept in the loop every step of the process! My house is 100% better than how it was before! The total cost of my restoration was 90,000. I feel truly blessed that Kenneth Barrett and his team could be of service all the way in Connecticut. If anyone needs water restoration work done, I absolutely believe CANCO is the best and only option!

We had the most AMAZING EXPERIENCE working with KENNY BARRETT and his Canco Restoration team!! We had water damage in our home due to a corroded drain pipe and we were in shock of all the damage done. After calling CANCO RESTORATION And speaking with Kenny, he made us feel at ease., Kenny was very professional, and communicated with us every step of the way. He was courteous, and detail oriented when he would explain the repairs that needed to be done. We could not be happier with the end result. Kenneth Barrett and his right-hand man, Tony Godsey, are an amazing team. Kenny was extremely prompt in responding to our cry for help about a water leak on a Saturday afternoon and had his crew out to immediately clean up and assess the extent of the damage throughout the rest of the weekend. They helped us in planning all of the next steps with our insurance company and helped to make sure that everything was considered in having the claim inspected. First and foremost, the level of communication that Kenny and Tony had with us was fantastic. They gave us their cell phones and made sure that we knew where they were at in the next stage of demolition and restoration. They were always responsive to our calls and text messages, even on evenings and weekends. They were upfront and honest about their assessment of unplanned setbacks and supply chain issues. I immediately recognized them to be trustworthy and uncompromising in their attention to detail and genuine with their professional opinions; including a very critical eye of the work done by the other Canco staff and subcontractors (i.e., plumbers, electricians, painters, etc.). Tony made absolutely sure that the work being done on our home was up to his standards, even if it meant having someone come back to touch up some things. Our experience of working with Kenny, Tony and the rest of their water mitigation/restoration team could not have been any better. I cannot recommend them enough to help someone through the painful process of disaster recovery.

Project took a long time to complete.

This review is overdue, the project was completed in mid-February 2022. Kenneth and his team are spot on their assessment for my issue. First off Kenneth responded to my request within minutes of me submitting it on Angiâ s List. He asks me several questions to understand more about my water damage. Kenneth even went as far to ask if I needed immediate help and would come over even though it was late at night. We set a date and time for his team to come over and assess my water damage. What I suspected was water damage from the second floor to the first floor was not accurate. Unfortunately, it was urine from my pets. Kenneth crew came by with high-tech equipment to see how much moisture there is underneath my subflooring down to the first floor. His team explained to me that there is no leak at all from water, they checked all bathrooms surrounding the damage with no evidence. His team proposed a plan on how to treat my moisture damage at a verry fair price. The next day, his team came by with the equipment for upstairs and downstairs, and sprayed a bio chemical for the surface mildew, set the dehumidifiers and fans where they needed to be positioned and let it run for 3 days straight, but they said they will run it for 4 days instead. On the fourth day, Kenneth team came back to re-assess the moisture underneath my subfloor, and it was all dry, no moisture detected and I was thrilled to hear that. After the equipment was removed, one team member came back and sprayed bio chemical again to assure any surface mildew is eliminated. After that I was able to move forward with my project and remove the carpet and install flooring. Kenneth and his crew saved me thousands of dollars from other companies' quotes, and unnecessary work. His logical thinking and ability to break it down in lames terms where I can understand tells me a lot that he relates to home owners like myself. I would definitely recommend Kenneth, his company Canco for home projects or issues that demand experts to do the job right the first time. Thank you, Kenneth!

Kenny and his team at Canco Construction are amazing. We had our dishwasher break and leak all over the place, behind cabinets and under the floors. Kenny quickly responded to my call and was out inspecting and setting up equipment to get things going. He was able to get us dried out and put back together. I highly recommend him and his team.

We had a leak in the wall between the large bathroom & my study. The original contractor disappeared on us. When we alerted on Angies list (home advisor) we got calls from 3 businesses & met with all 3. We chose Canco Construction. They quickly began the build back in the two rooms damaged from the water leak. We are very pleased with the work done. They worked with us to achieve what we wanted from the job. The pack up, furniture removal & replacement was carefully done. Every time I walk into one of those rooms I smile at the beauty of the. repair. Thank you .Kenny,Tony & crews.

Mr. Kenneth Barrett and his team responded quickly and efficiently when our home developed a leaky roof after a recent heavy downpour. They brought in their equipment to dry out the affected rooms and ensured that there was no growth potential for mold. Very happy with the care they exercised. Great work, guys!

Kenneth and his team were amazing. We had a water leak and weâ re not sure the extent of the damages or quite sure where it was coming from. They came out very quickly and discovered the problem. They were consistent in communication up to their arrival, as well as being very informative about the whole process. They went above and beyond to help me when I was in tight spot. This is a company that cares about its customers and it shows.
