Carlos is a master electrician and one-man business. He knows how to rewire old homes without destroying plaster walls. He visited the house the day after I called and gave an estimate. He was courteous and trustworthy (we felt comfortable giving him a housekey). He confessed right away when he accidently chipped a picture frame, and offered to replace it. He took care to consult us about where we wanted things like the fuse box. Negatives: Often late, job took longer than expected (even so, it took only 3 weeks). Out of many, many outlets and switchplates, two had small surrounding areas of chipped plaster, which we'll need to fill in and repaint. He was moderately good about cleaning up after himself. I would definitely hire him again. He charged exactly what he'd estimated, was honest, and did solid work.
